JESSICA'S POV
I was Kane's. His to hold, dominate and do whatever the hell he pleased with me and my wolf. As I sat at the edge of the king-size bed in his magnificent room painted white, my heart bruised against my ribcage.
Kane wasn't someone I wanted to be with. His guts, his charisma everything seemed off with me…not just me, my wolf too.
I tried to reach her inside of me, but the more I did, the more she retreated to a deeper part of my mind.
The door pushed open and Kane walked into the room. I lifted my gaze to look at him and our eyes locked for a few seconds before I became uncomfortable and shifted my gaze.
My whole body was trembling slightly at his presence. The way he made my wolf feel was quite different from the way Emrys and Orton…especially Emrys made me feel.
