ORTON'S POV
"What exactly went wrong?" I questioned as we made our way out of the chambers towards the elevator.
Emrys hesitated for a while before he said, "We lost two of our men…apparently, someone infiltrated our defense so…"
"What did you just say?" I asked in utter shock.
"You heard me," he said in a retort as he stopped in his tracks and tilted his head to face me, "Why do you think the emergency alarm went off?"
I scratched the back of my head, "I knew it was serious but honestly," I paused as we stepped into the elevator, "I didn't see this coming…who could have done that?"
As the elevator descended to the ground floor, Emrys remained silent. The elevator door pinged open and he stepped out before he said.
