JESSICA'S POV
I was out of breath and was struggling…I was struggling to inhale but it was harder with each breath I took.
“Jessica watch out!” A voice familiar to Emrys cautioned and I jolted up to reality, waking up with a start from the nightmare.
My heart was racing wildly in my chest. My nightgown was drenched with sweat that covered the whole of my skin down to the sole of my foot. The dreams were so real as though it was really happening.
I managed to get out of the bed. Goddess! My head was banging like a log of wood was shoved into it. I let out a sharp exhale and got into the bathroom. I stared into the mirror. My eyes were bloodshot and swollen.
I turned on the tap and splashed so cold water over my face. “Heck!” I gasped as the water chilled me to my very core.
