Shabd entered the room and noticed her frail figure. He approached her and enveloped her in his arms, gently stroking her head.
"Please, calm down. Everything will be alright," he said, his voice filled with restraint. But she continued to cry, clutching the collar of his white shirt. After a while, her sobs subsided and she wiped away her tears, her eyes red and swollen.
"Shabu, he promised me that he would never leave me. Please, try to find him again. I believe he will come back," she pleaded, her voice quivering. Shabd let out a sigh, feeling helpless, as he wiped away her tears.
"I have done everything I could to find him, but I couldn't. You are his beacon of hope, so don't live in despair. Live the way he would have wanted you to," he said, tenderly caressing her hair. Rahi shook
