Guy, Marshall’s assistant, nudges his arm. He doesn't want the governor to get on the President’s bad side. He is more concerned about his future than about his boss. Marshall has promised him that when he wins the Senator, he will take him with him. After all, Marshall can’t run for Governor again. He has already served eight years which is allowed. Marshall even tried to get the house to change so there won’t be a limitation on the years a person could be Governor. It was shut down before he could present it.
Marshall apologizes for staring at the First Lady. He asks Enrique to join him and his wife for dinner. Enrique reluctantly accepts the invite. He looks over at Priya. She’s still speaking to some of the workers. He notices that she isn’t taking any notes or recording the workers
