Following him down the stairs, I begin to hear noises coming from around the house. A part of me worries about Judy, but I’m more than sure that Logan has alerted her. He values her a lot more than he does me. With my hand in his, I creep softly and at the bottom of the staircase, we pick up the pace. I don’t know where we’re going until we approach a hall closet. “Get in and don’t make a noise. Don’t open this door until I tell you. If I don’t say it, don’t come out no matter what you hear.
