Ares Callisto tried his best to change his grandfather’s mind, but to no avail. Not that he expected it to work because much of his hardheadedness did come from him, too.
Basically, what his grandfather wanted, nothing or no one could say no to.
He glanced over to Lily who had quite obviously become more tense, staring at him wide-eyed as if to say ‘do something’, but there was not much he could do whether or not he did want to do something.
All of a sudden, Lily does something nobody on the table was expecting when she stands up and looks straight towards Ares’ grandfather.
Ares caught the conviction in her eyes, something he had never seen before, but there was no doubt that it made him intrigued but at the same time, worried for her.
