I woke up with the desperate need to sleep more. Hell, I wanted to sleep the entire day away until I realized one crucial thing – I wasn’t even on my own bed. The realization hit me like a truck and the second it did, I sat up, eyes wide open, and mouth agape. My eyes blinked as I scanned my surroundings. The whole place seemed to scream extravagance, but at the same time, simplicity. Black and gold were the colors that stood out the most. A bookshelf made out of what looked like expensive wood covered with matte black paint was positioned at the side.
