When Lucy arrived home, she was surprised to find that William still wasn’t home. At first, she felt jealous, but then she forced herself to rethink Tony’s words. She took three cleansing breaths, and then she went to the bathroom to wash the make-up from her face. Once her face was clean, she felt grounded, and she decided to take a bath. She ran the water and added Epson Salts while she stripped. She had brought a book with her and she read for a while. After a while though, she began to find it hard to stay focused on the book so she exchanged it for her cell phone, which she’d left on the toilet seat. Turning it on, she saw that she’d missed nearly twenty pop up notifications, which was odd. Normally, she turned the volume of her phone on as soon as she woke up. She had a hard time
