MAIA I blinked awake, my eyes adjusting to the dim light in the living room, realizing I had fallen asleep. Keir's arm was still wrapped around me, but the TV screen had gone dark, the movie had ended, and we were now alone. I shifted slightly, looking up at him, and was greeted with a gentle smile. "Hey," he said softly, before leaning down and kissing my lips. I smiled back, feeling a warm sensation run through me. “I missed the movie, didn’t I?” "Yeah," he chuckled, brushing a strand of hair away from my cheek. “Want me to play it again?” I shook my head, still groggy. “No, it’s okay. I’m sorry I fell asleep.” He waved it off, leaning in to kiss me again, this time for a little longer. "I fell asleep halfway through, too. I only woke up when I heard Mom move around." I smiled at him
