Ophelia tossed and turned in her bed, entangling herself in the sheets. With a loud groan, she shot up and sighed, her shoulders slumping. Guilt and regret slowly ate away at her and she tried to push the nagging feelings behind but they struggled free. Events of the previous day flooded back to her. The park and the cotton candy and the fun part was mostly a blur, like she was remembering the outing through a movie screen on fast-forward. She remembered how exciting the freedom felt, the sugar-rush, and the addled thinking due to lack of sleep.
