Tread Lightly Geoffrey Finch's first buyer was a young woman, a mother perhaps, though thankfully she had not brought her child with her. Even Geoff could not have stomached that. They met at the local park on a sunny Sunday afternoon when the crowds would provide anonymity. Long grass and weedy saplings also helped obscure them from view. At the pre-arranged spot beneath an ancient, diseased elm, Geoff sat down and pretended to admire the view, though it consisted of little more than scrubby undergrowth, weeds and overgrown trees.
