Her eyes felt glued shut as she tried to open them. She could feel a steady breath coming and going from her lungs, something that she could not remember feeling before.
"Mmmm," She groaned as her head dropped to the side. When she felt her hands, she lifted her arm to bring her fingers to her eyes. Maybe rubbing them a bit would settle them open. It was a while before she stopped. When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the window and the bright sky outside of it.
"Where am I?" She whispered as she tried to reposition herself to sit up.
"You're in the hospital."
