Alexia POV

I smile at my mates and I take both their hands. When we get back to the palace we can complete the mating and marking process. I also need to let you know what my abilities are. I don't want any secrets between us. I am glad you told me about your ex-mate. Does your family know about the stupid she-wolf that rejected you? "No we were ashamed to tell our parents" Maverick says and Maddox nods at me. Before we return to the palace I want to meet with your parents and my mother. My mother needs to know about what the Alpha's daughter did. It goes against everything we as werewolves believe in. You two having nothing to be ashamed of, she is the one that should be ashamed. We leave the office heading toward the common area of the pack house and find everyone waiting for us. I see a beautiful woman who looks like my mates come into the room in my direction. I am going to assume its their mother. "There she is my new daughter in law she says and wraps her arms around me." "Mom please don't break our mate" Maddox says. She gives me one last squeeze and steps back "sorry I'm just so excited we have waited for years for you lovely girl." I smile because she is so nice and loving. "Alexia this is our mother Cassie and this is our father Neal" Maverick says while pointing at Beta Neal. It is very nice to meet you both. I would like you both to meet with myself and my mother to discuss a few things before we leave. "Of course your majesty" Neal says. None of that I am your daughter in law essentially, no titles are necessary. My mother smiles and we head to conference room that the pack uses for meetings. Once we are all seated I look at my mates. I would like you to tell your parents what you told me. I see Maddox cringe but he nods his head at me. I smile and take his hand.

Maddox POV

When we were twenty years old we went to the Midnight pack for training. Do you remember dad? "Yes I remember, you two came back and seemed sad but you didn't tell us anything. " We were to ashamed to tell you what happened but Alexia wants us to tell you now. My parents wait for me to continue. While we were training the Alpha's daughter came to the training sessions and we found out she was our mate. I see the Queens face and she looks pissed. I keep going, when we approached her she rejected us because we were not a good enough rank for her. "I am appalled that an Alpha's daughter would be so petty and disgusting." "This will not go unpunished I promise you that" the Queen says. I see Alexia smile and I feel my body relax. "Why would you keep such a thing from us" my mother sounds hurt and I feel terrible we kept it from her. We were embarrassed and ashamed, we didn't want to be a disappointment to you and dad. "Don't you know that you two could never disappoint us, that girl is a dumba** because she missed out on the best mates." Thank you mom, but you have to say that your our mother.

Alexia POV

Well I don't and I can already tell you two are going to be phenomenal mates to me. I am lucky to have you as my mates and kings. My mother smiles and links me "you are going to be a wonderful Queen." I smile back and feel a sense of pride. Mother doesn't give praise easily so I'll take it when I can get it. Neal can you please link Emma and Xander to join us for this last part. "Of course Alexia" he links and the door opens. Xander and Emma come in with a smile on their faces. I remember Emma saying that my mates are like her own children and I smile. Once they take a seat I begin. The other thing I wanted to discuss is living arrangements. We will be returning to the palace today and I of course would like my mates to return with me. I know that they are your top warriors and that will put your pack at risk. I would like to make arrangements for two of the palace warriors who are unmated to take their place until training can be completed. Xander smiles at me "of course your majesty." That is not necessary you are also family based on my conversation with Emma. He smiles and I return the smile. I really do like this pack and how close they all are. I turn to my mates. We will leave after dinner tonight to give us all time to spend together and for you two to pack your belongings.

Maverick. POV

I couldn't be happier after we meet with my parents, Uncle Xander, and Aunt Emma. I am glad that they know about our rejection. I hated keeping it from them, we have never had secrets. Maddox and I take Alexia by the hands and walk toward the pack dining room. When we walk in everyone's head turns toward us. We take a seat at the Alpha table and wait for the food to be served. As I am talking to Alexia I feel a small hand touch my shoulder and I look to see the most annoying she-wolf on the planet touching me. I have never paid her any attention but she can't take a hint. I remove her hand from my shoulder, please don't touch me Isabella. "Don't be like that Maverick I am just being friendly." Before I can say anymore Alexia stands and puts herself between me and Isabella. "Who are you" Isabella says to Alexia. I hear the Queen whisper "she is going to be so sorry." "I am Queen Alexia and I am only going to give you one warning." "Don't you ever put your hands on my mates again or I will make sure you regret it." I see Isabella's eyes get big with fear and she runs out of the dining room. I put my hand on Alexia and I see her take a deep breath. She sits next to me and I pull her in close taking in her scent. I whisper in her ear that was the hottest thing I have ever seen. I see her blush and I need to get myself under control. I see Maddox take her other hand and I can't wait till we get back to the palace and become one.
