Hybrid Queen and Her Twin Mates

Alexia POV I get a mind link from my mother to come to my parent's private dining room. That is never a good place to have a private conversation. I walk into find both my parents seated at the table. "Good afternoon mom and dad, what's up" I ask while having a seat. The omegas serve us lunch and my mother begins to speak. "As you know, Alexia, you will be taking over as Queen soon and I would like you to find your mate before that happens." "Mother, do we really need to rehash this conversation again." "Don't take that tone with me young lady, yes we do." "Mom I know how important you think this is but I am perfectly capable to rule on my own until the mate thing happens." "The mate thing are you kidding me right now?" "No I am a strong capable werepire. I have many gifts that I have been blessed with. Dad, can you please back me up on this?" I see that deer in the headlights look my father gets every time I pull him into our conversation. This strong, powerful vampire is ruled by his mate. It really is comical. "Baby you know your mother means well, its important for you to find your mate." "Thanks for nothing dad." I get up to leave and my mother stops me in my tracks. "Starting tomorrow Alexia you will start visting the packs with me to find your mate, is that understood?" "Yes mother I understand perfectly that you don't think I am capable." "Don't act like a petulant child Alexia. I know exactly what you are capable of. If I didn't think you could rule, I wouldn't make you Queen. You need your mate's support just as I did." For the first time I don't feel like she thinks I am unworthy. "Fine mother, what time will we be leaving?" "Around nine tomorrow morning meet us at the carport." I nod and walk back to kiss both my parents good bye. Maverick POV I, along with my identical twin brother, are the top warriors of the Crimson pack. My brother's name is Maddox and we both stand 6'3" with muscular builds. We have wavy blonde hair that comes to our shoulders. We just turned twenty-four years old and our parents are concerned we haven't met our mates yet. The problem with that is we did, but they just don't know it. When we turned twenty, we visited the neighboring pack for training, the Midnight Pack. While we were there, the Alpha's daughter, Melissa, turned out to be our mate. She immediately rejected us because as she said, "you aren't good enough, I need a wolf with a higher rank than a warrior." The pain of the rejection nearly killed us, but we survived. The unfortunate part for us is that typically twins share a mate, so we had to endure the pain together. After she rejected us, she left the pack to travel to find her new mate and we haven't seen her since. Maddox POV I took the rejection much harder than Maverick did. That's not to say he didn't have the pain, he was just able to focus on our training more to get through it. I had a much harder time getting past it. Thankfully, having each other is a blessing. I am still disappointed we are without our other half. Time has at least lightened the pain of the rejection. I would never tell Maverick, but I pray to the Moon Goddess everyday for a second chance mate for us. Some people don't understand how twin wolves can share a mate, but it is a natural thing for us. I hear a knock on the bedroom door and Maverick walks in. "You ready for training, brother." "Aren't I always ready" I chuckle. Lets go. I believe dad is leading training today and you know how he loves to push us harder than everyone else. "I don't mind, then I feel like we are better than everyone when we get through the harder training" Maverick says. That's a good point. I never thought of it that way." We head out to training to see what dad has in store for us. Maverick POV After training is done, we are told to stay behind for Alpha Xander to speak to us. "I just want to tell you all how impressed I am with the training you have all been doing." "The other reason I asked to speak with you was to inform everyone we will be having a visit from the Queen and Queen to be in two days. I want them to see how great our pack is so everyone put forth their best efforts when they arrive to see us train." I look over at Maddox and smile. "Now at least we know why dad has been kicking our butts during training" I mind link him. "Beta Neal will you make sure that we are ready for the visit from the Queen. Make sure Michael is with you to learn everything he needs to know, Beta." Michael is our older brother and the future Beta of the Crimson pack when the Alpha is ready to step down. We decide to head back to the pack house and get something to eat once we are dismissed. Alexia POV Today is the day for our trip to the surrounding packs. I dress in a sundress because I know if I put a pair of jeans and t-shirt on I will have to deal with the wrath of my mother. I put on a yellow flowered sundress and head down stairs to meet my parents at the carport. When my mother sees me she shakes her head. "You couldn't wear something more formal for our visits today." "Do I not look good enough mother, is that what you're saying?" "I think you look beautiful honey." "Thanks dad, let's get going I am not changing. I wore a dress. "Fine at least it's not jeans and a crop top" my mother says. I chuckle inside at knowing her so well. We get into the car and head to the Wildfire pack first. Alpha Xane shows us around and we meet with all the unmated males and warrior wolves. Once we have met everyone, we head to the car and on to the next pack. We repeat the process with three other packs. I am ready to be done with this trip but we have one more pack to go today. We pull into the drive of the Crimson pack and I get out. We are met by Alpha Xander and Luna Emma. "Welcome to the Crimson pack, your majesty. Our daughter Scarlett is away at Alpha training so she couldn't be here to meet you" they say while bowing." That's awesome their next Alpha will be a female, I think to myself. My mother thanks them and then looks at me, giving me the floor to speak. "I look forward to meeting your daughter someday. Whenever you are ready, Alpha, we can meet with the unmated males and warriors." When we reach the training field, I am hit by an intoxicating smell of raspberry and immediately by a second smell of peaches. I love each smell equally but what the hell is happening? I should only be able to smell one mate unless I stop dead walking. As soon as I think it, two of the most gorgeous identical men appear in my line of sight. Holy sh*t there are two of them. They look up because they must catch my scent and I panic running back to the pack house. I can hear my mother yelling my name but I don't turn around. How can I have two mates? I didn't know if I could handle one. What do I do now?
