Participating children and youth have a basic understanding of sailing, wind, and weather as well as paddling in all of its forms, while developing their self confidence and the importance of teamwork in life. At the same time, they learn about the related environmental issues affecting our seas. The Foundation also supports handicapped (disabled) (different) sailing specially designed rides in Hong Kong via donations to Sailability Hong Kong™. Onshore activities for all groups cover participation in seasonal events such as the harbour (harbor) fireworks, Easter Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Tin Hau Festival, Christmas, American Thanksgiving, but not Indian Diwali, Cinco de Mayo in Mexico, and Mongolian Genghis Khan’s Birthday for obvious reasons, activities.
