ALICE POV
Just as they were about to resume the ceremony, the sky darkened abruptly. A strong wind arose, causing the pack members to scatter in panic. The lanterns and fairy lights flickered wildly, casting eerie shadows across the garden. I could feel the magic around me, like the air was electrically charged, but this time it wasn’t my doing.
Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw movement at the edge of the forest, I turned my gaze in that direction and saw faces I hadn’t expected—Alex, dad, Max, and other guys I saw here and there in college, they should belong to Alex’s pack.
The last thig I though I would see today was dad with Alex. When did they met? How? And how did Alex got here now?
