“For an exile to happen, the whole pride must vote,” Otto said. “I was there that night; every single lion agreed.”
“They only voted for exile because they were afraid of Damian,” I said. “That's what dad told us. Nobody was afraid that a dragon would take over, but they were too afraid to stand up to him. Dad always thought it was because you were supposed to take over the pride, and he didn’t want a dragon to have that control.”
