Freyja Something had a hold of me, and it frightened me. I fought against its hands around my neck, my scales rippling over my body to protect me from this creature. Its grip was too strong, I couldn’t break it, and it pulled me further into the woods as it scratched at my scales. I tried to shout out or link, but I couldn’t do either. Then I felt more hands on me as I pulled into the inky blackness of the trees. I opened my eyes to see the worried faces of my family and friends. My eyes turned onto Otto’s lion; the look on his face was almost too human. I had to look away as I settled myself. It was a shocking thing to happen, and to feel as if it were happening to me, was unsettling. “What did you see?” Gwen asked. “Abigail has been abducted,” I said. “It dragged h
