Everett put the tribe on complete lockdown. Nobody was allowed to leave, and Everett cut patrols to a minimum. Ian had worked for years on the security system for the tribe, so we had cameras, motion detectors, lights, and alarms that were controlled from the castle.
Elias and I took the last available rooms in the castle so we could stay close to everyone. Elle was disturbed by the human they found. She can’t even speak about it without getting weepy, so we tend to avoid the topic around her.
The elder safely returned to the council, and we arranged a video check-in. Elder Fran stated that one of the missing dragons had a mate, but she hadn’t felt a severed bond. He also reported that some of the scouts found evidence in England of a clearing that had been disturbed.
