Ryder POV 

When I enter the cafeteria I get nervous seeing my mate close and the same time too far. I take my sit as always, between Randy and Reilly, who I thought didn’t came to school. We all start eating, when Kyle walks up to me. I got to say I have known my entire life I am gay, so yes I have had my boyfriends and a few flings. Kyle has never being one but he is bisexual, he flirts with me all the time is silly but it never goes farther.  

We have never even kissed, we are friends I like to think he likes me like a bother. I blush as he comes near my ear “hello there beautiful,” he whispers making me shiver. I turn to face him, our noses almost touching. Even though theirs nothing between us I am shy with most guys at school more when theirs flirting. “Hi Kyle” Reilly has always like Kyle she even told me once how cute she thought we looked, she wanted us to date. That of course didn’t happen and now that I have find my mate won’t happen ever.  

   Stevan POV 

I was eating when I saw a guy come too close to my mate, wait what? No I have no mate that dude is not my mate, “hello there beautiful,” he whispered it made my wolf Kylan stir. ‘That’s our mate!’ He growled in my head, I was getting angry seeing how he blushed for that i***t that wasn’t even good looking. I kept staring at them for far too long, the bell rings and they walk together side by side. I get up with the intent to follow them but Steven steps in my way. 

“No way I will let you go after him” I raise an eyebrow at him what the hell does he  think he is saying? “I know what you are thinking just leave it alone.” “And what exactly do you think I am thinking?” I asked feeling curious about his thoughts, he sights “you want to pick a fight, again so please just don’t.” With that he walks towards his class. I walk to mine when I enter my class there he is, sitting in the back corner and is not alone. Next to him sits the guy from earlier I walk to them sitting across from them staring at them closely. The teacher starts the lesson but I don’t care I don’t take my eyes from them, the guy seems to start getting uncomfortable. “What is your problem dude?” He asks raising his voice, the teacher turns to us, “Kyle is there something wrong?” Now I know his name, “yes actually this guy has been staring at us the whole class.” She nods at him then turns to me, “is there a problem Stevan?” ‘Yes he is too close to my mate!’ Kylan growled, I clear my throat before shaking my head, “no miss I was distracted that’s all.”  

She seems not to believe me but goes with it. The rest of the class goes by the same way me staring at them I could feel his wolf stirring probable angry at me. The bell rings signaling its time for the last class of the day. I wait to see them get up before me, Kyle takes his hand and walks out the class. I walk behind him graving his arm pulling him to me. My whole body feels the sparks our touch produce. His eyes widen but before he could say anything Kyle pulls him away from me. Kyle cups his cheeks, “are alright?” He asks worried I growl at the scene in front of me.  

Kyle stands protectively in front of him glaring at me as a growl escapes him. Miss Owlsen comes out the class, “get in here now!” She orders us, we walk inside the class still staring at each other. He holds him by his hand I growl again, that’s MY mate, even though I don’t want him he is MINE. “What is this all about?” Miss Owlsen asks, I gulp I can’t say he is my mate not out loud at least, I am not gay for crying out load. “He is brothering my boyfriend,” Kyle states I turn to look at him waiting for him to deny this. He looks down not uttering a sound, is this true then, he has a boyfriend? 

    Ryder POV 

I understand why Kyle lied about being my boyfriend but then I see my mate’s face is he jealous? ‘Jealous of what exactly?’ Ryker asks, I think about it and decide not to deny Kyle. “Is this true Ryder?” Miss Owlsen asks I nod in agreement, this brought a smile in Kyle’s face. It also brought a wrinkled in my mate’s forehead. Miss Owlsen let Kyle and I go as she stayed to have a talk with my mate. 

     Reilly POV  

The last class of the day and my mate is here, he even had the audacity to sit next to my desk. I normally sit with John, he is a good partner never talks. I stare straight to the front everyone writing notes, I don’t write notes. I do like reading and therefore I already know most of my lessons, so don’t write notes. I hate writing anyways, it’s just a waste of time and paper. I can feel him staring at me, his eyes burn my skin in a good way, I hate being close to him. It makes me want to touch him and let him touch me but I can’t he hurt my brother.  

His hand brushes mine making the sparks spread as my heart beats. I have a heart but it doesn’t beat at all, and the two times he has touched me my heart beats. I scoop farther from him, he comes near me again but I stand walking out of the classroom. No one says anything, everyone in this school and my pack fears me, and they are right to fear me. After all I have killed people, most by accident but still, the sparks run up my arm as I turn I see my mate holding my arm. “Where is the rush?” I pull my arm from his grasp as I stare to the floor not wanting to look him in the eye. He takes a step towards me making me look up taking a step back. This was the biggest mistake ever since I get lost in his eyes, we stare at each other my heart beating as a normal heart.

Steven POV  

I stare into her eyes lost in the moment they are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Her purple eyes hypnotize me, she looks troubled but before I could ask the bell rings. In a blink on an eye she is gone, damn she is fast, I try to follow her scent but it’s in vain. I sight knowing that at least we have a class together and I will see her everyday. I will make her accept us, accept the mate bond, accept me, because I can feel her uncertainty. 

Stevan POV 

I was in the restroom, frustrated, after a long talk with Mrs. Owlsen I went to my last class of the day which was a pain because I couldn’t stop thinking of my mate. His silver eyes, his small thin face, his brown hair that he wears a little longer than the sides. His lean small figure, I am 6.2 while he looks a lot smaller maybe 5.8. I had to get out of class I splash some water in my face I have to remove all this thoughts out of my head. As I stand here I hear people out the door, a guy and girl are gossiping. “Damn he look so hot today,” he said, “yeah I know he is the cutest guy in school and is gay,” she said. “Well I still heard he just to sleep with a girl, this one girl, the rest of his bed buddies have been guys.” He respond “shut the front door, I can’t believe you does this mean I have a shot with Ryder?” As she asked this, I felt my blood boil, you got to be kidding me. Guys and girls are after his bones, my mate’s bones, I got out of the restroom feeling irritated.  

The bell rang signaling it is time to go home, as I reach the parking lot I spot my mate he was standing against a car. The guy Kyle was leaning against him, his hands cup his face as he lean I sprinted towards them pushing him away from my mate. Ryder was red trying to hide himself, maybe embarrassed that students were looking at us, I don’t care. “What’s your problem dude? I was about to kiss MY boyfriend why would you push me away from him?” I felt my eyes darken then the sparks on my back, my wolf purr as our mate was calming us down. My anger was subsiding when Kyle grab him by the waist pulling him to his chest holding him tight. My wolf growled, my anger rising all of a sudden feeling the urge to shift and kill the bastard in front of me. He is a lot taller than my mate but smaller than me. 

I was about to make a move but a very powerful voice stop me. “Stop this nonsense now!” She ordered she then took my mate by the hand I growl at her. Is the same girl with purple eyes, she is taller than my mate as well probably everyone is taller than him. “I will be taking my brother home, now you two better calm. The. f**k. Down. Before we have problems.” With that she walked away with a blushing Ryder my wolf whine as he wanted to be near his mate. 

Reilly POV  

I honestly don’t know what is wrong with this alpha brothers but they are not going to play games on me nor my brother. When we reach the pack house Liam run to us, “hey I was just waiting for you two, we have to leave in an hour.” “Where to?” I asked, “we have a meeting with a neighbor pack something about witches or something.” I nod, we walk in Ryder headed to his room I headed to mine, Randy was siting in my bed I raised an eyebrow. “Something wrong?” He nods, “I have a strange feeling about this pack we are going to,” I walk to him sitting in the floor facing him. “It’s fine if you don’t want to come you know?” I was concerned he was never the kind that would stay back from trips like this. “I know but I feel like I have to go it us as if there is something waiting for me there.” I nod at him, he stands as I do as well, I am tall for a girl at five feet nine inches, he is exactly six feet tall. He walks out the door as I start to change my clothing.  

Randy POV 

I was concerned because of this feeling I was having about this pack, but at the same time excited as I feel like theirs something waiting for me as well. I asked Liam what it was about he said it was an allied pack that needed help with some witches. Apparently the pack has been having attacks from witches for the las six months. Uncle Axel and aunt Ari were busy making alliances with other packs, that just left the soon to be alpha to fix this problem. Liam is too young for this kind of things but I understand why uncle Axel and aunt Ari let him. He is not alone he has us, we the three of us signalling as strong together although Reilly will always be the strongest of us.  

As I walk out I see the twin alpha’s here the Stevan guy is staring at Ryder making him feel uncomfortable. I walk to them, standing near my brother, Ryder has always being the smallest of us three. While I am six feet, Reilly is five feet nine inches, and then Ryder he is five feet seven inches. Both alpha’s are a few inches taller than me. I understand why this makes Ryder uncomfortable, as we stand here staring at each other I hear a beating heart. The sound is strange like I know it but never heard it before until I hear her voice. “What is going on here?” 

Reilly steps closer to us, staring at the twins in the eyes, her heart beats are regular not slow not fast. I smile because I know now why is this, the alpha, her mate makes her heart to beat. Ryder walks away feeling to uncomfortable to stay here, the alpha Stevan steps after him I growl letting him know not to go near him. He ignores me and walks after Ryder, I pull him from his jacket making him step back from him. I turn to see Ryder has stopped walking away and is now walking towards us. At this the stupid alpha stands in place not saying a word. I raise an eyebrow and Reilly does the same Liam then comes and greet the asshole twins.
