“Here goes… another day of school!!”, “ugh why does this have to be so annoying” I said rummaging through my closet in the morning to find the perfect outfit for the day. Suddenly the car honk ranging my ears, “shoot, Jacob’s here!!!!” I just took out a crop top with sassy b***h as the logo and the top background with a shade of pink green and blue, I quickly put on a light shade of pink lipgloss my already rosy lips and applied some mascara, with a light tinge of foundation. I decided to wear this top with my ripped hot shots, that according to my boyfriend made me look too hot. I admired myself in the mirror till the time the car honk rang again, I ran for the doors taking a pop tart in my hand half in my mouth as I open the front seat door of the shining black converter, there I see the face god carved himself. The perfect jawline with round eyes, having a bright shade of blue as they glinted in the sunlight, his lips smirking at me knowing how much I love him, his shirt was half opened showing off his collar bones and perfect stretching muscles also going a breathtaking view of his well toned chest. But something just didn't feel right, there were no sparks when we kissed and no tingling sensation when he touched me, you must be thinking that it is what I have heard from my parents as alphas and Lunas are supposed to be the perfect couple and being their daughter would have romantic perks but no, my parents died in a vampire-rogue attack that left me an orphan but the beta of my pack took in and welcomed me as their own daughter since they had been extremely close to my parents. So that apparently makes Jacob my brother we even talked about our relationship with Jacob's parents and they were surprisingly supportive about it. Since when my parents died I was only 10 and hence too young to take on alpha duties Asher and Selene( Jacob's parents) took care of it until last year when I turned 17 and gave the alpha duties to rightful alpha and we had a big celebration too. I had started dating Jacob since when I was 16 so it makes this year our second year. While in these thoughts I paid attention to my wolf and she was howling and jumping around happily in my head and was excited to go to school which never and I mean it NEVER happened after being lost in my world for a few minutes I noticed I was looking at him and I hadn’t realised that I didn’t shut the door till the time he said “I know I am handsome but close the door or we are gonna be late” giving me the smile I melted for a year ago, but for some reason it didn’t fell the same anymore or maybe it was in my head, ‘meh who cares maybe I am overthinking’ I thought and rode peacefully with sun shining on my face while I enjoyed the cool breeze against my face. Then was the time my nightmare began…  An extremely sweet smell hit my nose, like vanilla, strawberry and hot chocolate brownie, it pulled me towards itself like a magnet. As I followed this smell I saw the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen even better than Jacob who was supposedly the most handsome boy in the school. “Is he new?” I asked maintaining an eye contact with him, “yes” Selena, my best friend since ages, replied. Selena was nowhere like me, she was the ideal top models needed for industry to be successful, she had guys running over her little finger. She was a tall blond girl with a perfect tan and perfect curves and edges, her face was that of an angel’s, slim and glowing, her eyes were upturned and pale blue with her eyelashes turning upwards, being so long and thick. But sad for the other guys she had a boyfriend and lucky for them they were mates unlike me and Jacob. Coming to my newly found mate, he wore a tight black t-shirt that showed of his perfect eight pack abs and he was literally swarming with girls but his beautiful storm grey eyes fixed on examining my every inch. His face could melt the coldest of hearts, the jawline bulging out and his hand muscles tearing when he flexed them, he was really very tall assuming from my height which was quite decent. He was not a member of my pack, because he radiated the aura of an alpha, as I examined his features, Selena said his name was Shade, “the perfect name for the perfect man”. Looking at my expressions Selena knew something was up, I looked at her and she was sining me that quizzical look like she is trying to solve a mystery case, her expression suddenly turned from quizzical to happy to horror, “you found your mate” she whisper shouted, “yes” I replied in a hushed tone. “But what are you gonna tell Jacob? Poor guy would be heart broken” Selena asked a little heartbroken that her ship was broken, “we both knew this would happen in the end, we have to break up… I guess” I replied unexpectedly with too much confidence. Poor guy was taken aback… his perfect blue eyes in a bad state of shock and tears welling up, I hated seeing him this way… in a meek voice he asked me, “why?…” mustering all the courage to not cry at his I replied “I-I …uhh found my mate” I replied so softly that I could barely hear myself but thanks to our werewolf senses he heard me just fine, with tears inches eyes he said “m happy for you, but now I gotta go to class” “mhm” was all I could say. Just as I was alone tears started warming up in my eyes and I felt his presence behind me, he wrapped his too big arms around me and I sighed the tears fading away, has heard that your mate could mate could make you feel calm and make you happy but now experienced it, it was more than magical and calming. I instantly knew I loved him.  “Oh moon goddess I cant thank you enough for what you have done for me”, these were the only thoughts clouded my mind even though I do not know why am I even thinking about it… father would probably never allow this relationship to actually bloom at least till the time he is alive. Shaking me off from my thoughts came in another figure, blond hair, devil black eyes with his abs showing off through his tight shirt, he had a light tan complimenting his hair and then I suddenly hears cooing in my ears, surprised I turned to Selena who looked like she would melt in seconds, following her gaze I saw him and this unknown wolf having their eyes looking into each other’s souls. She found her mate.
