get up as the sun glare in my face, I lazily walk into the bathroom and do my morning routine, after spending time in a hot relaxing bath, I get up, mentally preparing myself to face humans, or wolves out there, especially the humans. Smh. I pick out a ripped denim short pencil skirt, white crop top, cap it's a bit sunny today and black Yeezy, my campus is not too far from the apartment, five minutes drive and ten minutes walk. I am studying fashion design with a minor in architecture at the city university. I smile as I step out of the lobby, it's going to be a good day, I can feel it. " Oh sweetheart you don't belong here you," she says looking at her poorly manicured nails, I wish I can pull her fake blonde wig out, and scratch her make up caked face. "And you do?" I ask, she nods her head before her lips quirk in a smile. "My boyfriend's father owns this university, baby girl," she says pointing her index finger at me, I glare at that finger, it would be so easy to break it. " But who in their right mind would want a slut like you?" I ask, if slut was a person, it would be this girl, she opens her legs to anyone, everyone knows she's a pack w***e, as in I've seen her f**k around. Cindy Jones and I haven't always been enemies, we used to hang out together sometimes before she made out with someone I liked very much, she knew Jackson and I had chemistry, a connection was there, now I just ignore them but that is hard seeing as we have some classes together in Architecture. I push her out of the way head to class and continue to go to class. Cindy is a werewolf, from a pack nearby blood night pack, just saying that name sends shivers down my spine, they are the most powerful pack in the history of werewolf and their Alpha is a Lycan wolf Lycans are stronger than wolves, they are the first wolves ever created by their goddess and my father hates them to the core, the Alpha couple betrayed them, from what I hear, they were about to be allies but something grave happened that resulted in breaking the alliance. Why would they want to align with the werewolves in the first place? Oh yes, my mother is a pacifist at heart. Whatever happened hurt my mother, and the Diamond Clan just ceased to exist to the outside world other than vampires, our clan is the largest, strongest, and wealthiest, making my father, the king of vampires. We have other clans as well, one of them is the Amythest, a king rules their side too, he is ruthless just like his son who is, by the way, is devilishly handsome, just like me, Ethanius is born vampire. I take my seat at the back of the class as usual. When it's done, I go to the cafeteria. "Hey, baby girl," my best friend Samantha comes to hug me with the biggest smile. Her curly hair is a mess and is wearing big baggy pants with a tight shirt. She's human talks a lot but I don't mind. "Hi Sam, what's up," she sits next to me, I know she wants me to ask but I won't, I'm staying strong, I continue to eat as she chews her lower lips in anticipation, waiting. "Just ask or I won't tell," I ignore her, putting more chips in my mouth, she looks at me like a lost puppy. "Ok, tell me the latest," I concede finally, a smile appears on her pretty face as she takes in a deep breath, here we go. "There is this guy, he's so hot! he went to school here before traveling and now, he's back for his last year here!" Oh okay, I thought she had something juicy to tell me! It's about a boy? "Samantha that's it? A man seriously? " I roll my eyes and continue eating my burrito, I swear I love these things. "Hey you eat like an elephant, how come you don't gain?" She asks looking at the food on my plate but I shrug, I do eat a lot, unlike Cindy who just eats a salad for lunch every day. I shrug, people are chattering loudly as they eat until it suddenly goes silent as the door opens, Samantha next to me keeps tapping my leg, trying to show me something or rather someone, I slowly turn to the door to finally look at what she is pointing us, f**k that guy is hot. He's tall roughly 6'4, with dirty blonde hair, pale blue eyes, lean muscular body. I can't help but stare, I see a desperate-looking Cindy behind him, major turn off, I go back to eating. "Well don't stop on my account, go on," he says waving his fingers in the air, everyone goes on with what they were doing huh strange. Cocky much, I sigh, I glance back to where the hottie is, Cindy next to him like a leech. He and his companions look around the restaurant. "Come on, do you see what I was telling you?" Asks Samantha giddy like a little kid, I nod stuffing pizza in my mouth gosh why do I eat this much? She's right to say I eat like an elephant. "He's hot but Cindy has dips, major turn off!" I stand up as she follows quietly, we walk out of the cafeteria, I hear my phone buzz, I reach for it in my bag but there are so many things in it, I keep searching my bag while walking but I bump into someone and fall back on my ass, I groan before quickly picking myself up. " Cami, are you alright?" Asks Sam with a frown. I nod but stagger a little before strong arms catch me I look up to whose arms am in slowly, it's the Greek god, we look at each other for a while, delightful tingles rush through my body as I stare into his eyes. But suddenly his eyes turn to hate and before I can say a word Cindy pushes me off him roughly. "Watch it, Cami!" exclaims the b***h, I give her one of my deadliest glares. "Damien, are you okay?" She asks sweetly, touching his face but the man shrugs her off. So his name is Damien, he ignores Cindy then rushes out of the cafeteria as though it is on fire, his two handsome friends following behind, I look at the whole restaurant, they were all silent watching us. " What?" I snap in a harsh tone. They go back to their chattering and food, gossipers! What happened to Damien? His face was full of turmoil when he saw me, I shake my head before grabbing Sam's hand to leave.
