I felt movement and whispers around me as I slept in peace. What's with all the ruckus? I peered my eyes opened and saw everyone. Literally everyone inside the small apartment we have. "Happy Birthday Nora!" They cheered loudly making me blush. 

I look to Adrian and he looked better making me a little bit happier. “Wow guys... this is too much.” I said with a laugh as I got out of the bed. Jasmine wiggled her way over and pulled me into a hug.

I looked down and saw what was I wearing making me groan. “Can we do this not in the room?” I said and they did a slight chuckle and left besides Adrian. 

“I tried stopping Melissa but you know how she is.” He said with a tired expression. I giggled with a nod as I hugged him and he kissed my forehead. “Happy birthday beautiful.” 

“Thank you.” I smiled as I pulled away. “Now out.” I ordered and he showed a frown before walking out.

Nineteen. Gosh I feel old. I know I’m still technically a teenager but nineteen?? Oh gosh. And how the hell did Melissa know it was my b- Mom. Definitely mom. Ugh.

I took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. I put on a white skirt and then a black long sleeve v neck . I put some converse on then let my hair my down. I walked back downstairs seeing everyone chatty. I was surprised to see Heath here and it made me smile. No matter the past , he would always be the first boy I fell in love with. He’s also my first in s*x so there’s no way at leaving it. 

“You look beautiful.” Heath said as he smiled and pulled his camera out. “Say cheese.” He teases making me shake my head but smile and he snapped a picture.

“How the f**k are you older than me?” Jason said as he glared at me. I laughed as I shrugged with a smirk and proceeded to the kitchen where Melissa was.

Melissa and Ashton were talking and I popped my head out. “Oh yes! You’re finally done. I have such the day planned. Okay first we are going to the club and then-

“Melissa I can’t tonight.” I said with a frown. I had work so that was a big no no. 

“What could be more important than your special day!?” She said as she whined. She looked more excited about this than me and this was my birthday!

“Work?” I said as I felt a arm on my shoulder. I looked up seeing Jace and I smiled. 

“Birthday girl , I have something to give you.” I nodded my head with a little excitement as I turned to him and I hear Melissa groan and she left with Ashton. “But close your eyes.”

I did so and closed them. I hear some shuffling before I felt a hand touch my neck and then a necklace was placed on me. I open my eyes , looking down seeing the big letter J on it making me roll my eyes. “You got me a necklace with the first letter of your name. How thoughtful.” I said sarcastically and he only smirked.

“It’s cute.” 

“OKAY! Since the birthday girl has work how about we do this. Let’s all have a few drinks here.” Melissa said and I only smiled at her attempt to make the night better. I’m glad I didn’t have any classes today.

“Fine with me.” Jax said with a smile as he turned around and pulled out two bags. “Came prepared.” He smirked. Oh boy. I’ll just try not to have TOO much drinks.

“This is why we love you man.” Ashton said as he gave him hug. I smiled and then the doorbell ranged. I walked down and opened it but gosh I wish I didn’t.

Elisa.

“Hi! I hear it’s your birthday. Mind if I come in?” She said as she smiled at me. She’s so weird ,what the hell...

“Sorry no , I was just getting ready for work.” I lied as I smiled at her. She frowned before nodding then the door opens wider.

“Ms.Blake? Whatcha doing here?” Melissa says. Oh gosh , what if Heath sees her?!

“Oh I just came to wish her a happy birthday , but I think she’s too busy.” She did this innocent look and it totally freak me out. Was she trying to seduce her way in? Because she was totally failing at it!

“Busy? We were just about to have some drinks , wanna join?” Melissa ! 

I shook my head as I looked back to Elisa. “Sorry she can’t join. She was just leaving , take care Ms.Blake!” I smiled as I closed the door . 

“Now that I’m realizing it. Doesn’t Ms.Blake have the same last name as Tory?” Melissa said and I glared.

“Mm oh I don’t know ? Maybe it’s because they are related.” I said and she gasped as she looked at me. Come on ! I thought she already knew that!

“No way! Why the hell is her sister working as a teacher?”  I shrug closing the door and we sat down with the group.

Though it did seem strange. Tory shot me. Like literally shot me. Then her sister so happens to be my homeroom teacher? Coincidence? I think not. What’s really her game? And why the hell did she come all the way to my house just to tell me happy birthday? Ah.. maybe I’m just thinking to hard about it. Maybe she’s just a teacher and I’m the one going crazy.

I looked around seeing almost all my friends drunk. I had to leave for work in less than ten so I told them if they wanted to , they could sleepover. Adrian didn’t drink at all because after last night when I told him that he was drugged , he through a fit and swore to never drink alcohol again. He’s the cutest.

I went to my room and changed into my work uniform. I really love the fit. It did show a little bit to much but it was cute. A black skirt and a suit shirt with a cute little bow. Adrian said he hates it but I thought it was cute.

When I was done I went back downstairs and saw most of them sleeping or some watching TV. I love them really. Not having friends as a kid made me so sad but now I have friends. I have even have a freaking boyfriend. I think I’m living the fantasy life.

“Boner alert!” Jace said as he smirked at me. I shake my head as I look to Adrian who’s frowning .

“Nonnie do you really have to go to work? Come on stay...” He said as he pulled my skirt down. “Why the hell does this have to be so high?” He groaned as he came back up.

I shake my head with a smile as I kiss his lips. “Take care of the place please.” I said with a pouty face. He gave in with a frown as he gave me the keys.

“Please be careful. Don’t hurt my car or I’m coming for you.” I scoff sarcastically as I roll my eyes. I tell my friends goodbye and then I head on to work.

When I got there I saw Lily smiling with a sign that said happy birthday. “If you told us it was your birthday then we would have let you off. Silly girl.”

“But I love working here , I get to hang with the best girl ever.” I said as I smiled at her. She blushed shaking her head. She was twenty but she had the innocence of sixteen year which made her fun to tease.

“Fine but after this , let me treat to dinner.” She gushers but I simply shake my head and walk to the cashier. 

“I’m beat . I’m sleeping after this.” I said and she nodded her head with a smile. 

Minutes later a man walked up and he did look sketchy but I didn’t say anything about it. “Hi welcome ! What can I get ya?” 

The man looked up before smirking. “Sorry I had to do this sweetheart.” He said before placing a big black bag on the counter. I step away as the smell made my nostrils hurt . What the f**k?

I pinched my noes as I opened the bag and immediately I screamed. It was another dead pig’s head and there was a note inside. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU b***h. HOPE YOU LIKE MY PRESENT . I looked back up and I saw someone smile at me. I couldn’t tell who it was but they were definitely looking at me. It looked female.

“Oh my gosh , call the police!” Lily called out but I ran outside and saw a car drive away. Wait a f*****g second. That car. I remember it!

That’s the car Tory went in when she shot me and drove away.
