••••••••••1•••••••••• Thanks to the unbearable chatter of these freaks in front of me I am now laying on the bed with my pillow pressed against my ears. I quietly lay there with my teeth gritting..okay seriously I can't take this anymore.. 'SHUT UP!!!' I yelled furiously at them... The chatter seemed to stop for a while...but then they started again.. Maybe I should try been polite I thought 'okay please go away' I said with a Stern... I didn't have any interest in what they were saying but I think they were talking about some stupid amulet as usual... They had increased their voices this Time and I couldn't take it anymore.. 'go away' I said but this time with a tone of command...they stopped chattering My mum ran in with a despaired face....I am getting used to that face 'what is it dear, who are you talking to?' she asked while making a quick eye scan around my room They had left....those freaks....as usual.they always made me feel stupid and crazy in front of everyone.. 'They're are gone mum' I said getting up from my bed walking towards my window for some sunlight Then the doctor came in 'you demanded my presence your majesty' he said slightly bowing his head 'Yes...yes doc philip.its happened again...I don't know what to do' Mum said worriedly 'Like I said before your majesty... there's absolutely nothing wrong with her...you saw the scan and test results I gave' he paused to catch his breath I walked away from the window and started examining the artifacts in my room like I have never seen them before..well I have nothing else to do.they all think am crazy, talking to myself,mum never believes me when I say I see stuffs,things no one else can see,I hear strange voices, some try to reach out to me while some stay away like they're scared or something.. I was drawn back to the present when one of my mum's escort suggested bringing in the wizard 'clearly this is more serious than what we think it is your majesty' doc Philip added 'hmm, yes but I don't want this to be a public affair,we must manage this discretely' mum paused for a while ' you may leave Philip...thank you' she added 'very well your majesty' Philip said while excusing himself 'send words to corpus immediately, tell him his presence is requested' mum said dismissively to one of her guards Corpus came into my room with an old wooden box and made a bow 'your majesty,princess' 'thank you so much for coming corpus' she said to him 'leave us alone' she said to the royal guards Soon we were left alone Mum explained the ordeal to the wizard who had already began opening his box and offloading some jars and potions... 'i do suspect something but I do not believe it's possible' he said to mum ' I would like to conduct some spells to check' ' Amanda get over here' mum said to me I walked lazily to them and sat on my bed Corpus had placed some stuff on the floor in a weird arrangement Then he began reciting some incantation and demanded for a strand of my hair off which he placed at the center of the arrangement and continued his incantation..soon we could spot smoke escaping into the air...the strand of hair had caught fire... I was began to feel strange then all of a suddenly we heard a piercing sound with rampant ghostly movements emerging... Mum was frightened things were getting out of control...my ears began to hurt so I touched them and realised I was bleeding 'thats enough' I yelled at corpus still holding on to my ears Then he recited some incantation and the strand of hair came back to its original self, in unharmed, it had stopped burning.. I wiped my ear and tried avoid the awkward moment Corpus seemed shocked but my mum allot more 'am afraid my suspicions are right your majesty' he said finally to my mum 'what is it?' she asked 'princess Amanda has a very rare ability...she has the ability to relate to the dead' 'thats impossible' she said stepping back 'only the amalors have that ability and they were massacred...we massacred them' 'do still think am crazy mum?' I asked as I rolled my eyes 'am afraid the amalors curse on the royal family after all is true' corpus said I had read the story in a book we had in the royal libary... almost a century now my great grand father king Luther the 3rd had ordered the m******e of the amalors, because the amalors had the ability to relate with the dead which was seen has a taboo...on the day the three elders of amalors were to be burnt alive the three elders were found chanting some incarnations and placed a curse on the offsprings of king Luther, that a royal blood would be born as an amalor... that's the story but I never believed,I thought it was some folktale...
