Alaina POV "Hey girl!" I tilted my head to see Daisy coming my way with her bag. I smiled placing my pen down, she is looking good in her skinny jeans and crop top. "Hey!" I say joining my hands together. "Why didn't you come last night?" she asked as I pushed my English and biology book away making some space on the table. "You know that my parents won't allow me outside after seven," I say looking at her. Her phone started ringing. "Yup! I forgot I have something to do. I will meet you in the chemistry class," she said typing on her phone. Before I could say anything she rushed away, I shook my head arranging my books in my bag before walking towards my first class. I made sure that I didn't forget my money pouch.  Here in school not many know about me, it is a miracle if they know. My fellow kids know me as Daisy's best friend or the girl who Will Simmon dated. Daisy is in the cheerleading group. She is one of those popular girls of this school. I'm far away from all this and I hate attention, I like to be alone and be in my own space. "There...There... you are." I saw Will waving his hand for me. Everyone who was present in the class looked at us weirdly. I shrugged my shoulders as I made my way to him. "Hey Will!" He patted the seat beside him. I sat down pulling my bag along. "Wassup lady? Heard that your so-called best friend changed her classes." "Yup, She wanted to be in the same classes as her cheer team. Something like improving her communication and all," I reply which sounds so weird. Who the f**k changes classes for communication? That was f*****g lie which I know but I'm least bothered about it. "That's s**t, she is hanging out with the star kids. She is spending most of the time with them. Did you see how she changed and she doesn't even eat with you." "Will... you are dating her again?" Isla, one of those girls who have a crush on Will asked pointing her finger at me and him. "I wish sweetheart, she doesn't wanna date me again. She is beautiful isn't she?" he questioned her back politely with his famous smile and cheeky face. I roll my eyes pulling out the new notebook.  "Eww! She is weird and you have many girls who are interested to date you," she said seductively. I f*****g hate it when people comment on me I can't help but open my mouth to snap back. "Please take your garbage from here, I don't wanna smell that s**t all period and you can take Will with you if he agrees." As I remarked, her cheeks turned red, she glared at me before taking that melodramatic turn walking to her friends. "That was fun," Will said as he laughed. I turned towards the board as the teacher entered the room. The truth is I and Will never dated, Will's long term girlfriend whom he loved so much cheated on him and left him for another guy. Will was broken that he asked for help. I never spoke to him before our junior high. I have only one friend in this school that is Daisy and he knows that well because no one will be knowing the truth. We fake dated and were in a fake relation for six months, Will became a good friend of mine, even though people call me weird and him stupid for dating me. We broke off things as a couple when hatred towards me by Will's fans grew. His girlfriend I mean ex was so angry and she realised her mistake but it was too late as Will says he moved on and he wants to be alone and single. We both were friends and acted as a couple in front of everyone like holding hands, hugging but we never kissed because I don't like to be in an intimate relationship when it is fake. Daisy thought Will lost his mind when he dated me, that thing really hurt like she thinks I'm not a girlfriend material because I'm weird, doesn't talk with everyone, stays quiet, doesn't show emotions and always be sarcastic. I was like 'yes honey, not a girlfriend material because I'm a wifey material.' I don't like to be with everyone because I know their double faces, I even know Daisy is changing, the truth is she changed. I know her from my middle school, she isn't the same girl anymore. Even though I want to say so many things I can't because I don't wanna hurt her. "My dad is searching for a good story, he wants to encourage new talent," Will whispered. "Ohh... How it is going then?" I whispered back. "He didn't find yet. He is searching and he hasn't found any story which reaches his bar of expectations." "I'm sure he will be getting so many storylines from online, as there are so many online writers whose work is excellent," I replied back in a hushed tone as I don't want the teacher to catch us. "Yeah, I will tell him to do that." "How is it going with you?" I asked him. "Same old story, I told my mom that I don't want to be in the film industry but you know right my family is famous for producing films and they want me to continue the same as I don't have any sibling. Dad says he is in a helpless phase and told me to graduate my high school first," I nodded my head writing down the notes. Will's family owns the Hollywoods biggest production house. His father produces movies and they all are massive hits. One thing which is very common between me and Will is that we want to do something but family is making us do something, Will wants to do business and open his own clothing store while his parents want him to go to film school. At least they are going to think about Will's dream. From what I heard I know they will be agreeing to send Will to a business school. "What about you? How's the situation at home?" He asked once the teacher turned around to write on the board. "Same old story, they want me to go to the medical school." "Half-life will be ending in the medical school, then half-life under some other doctor." I chuckled slowly because whatever he said is damn true. "Mr Simmon I will continue my class if you are done talking," Mr Fisher said. I lifted my head to see everyone is looking at us. I raised my eyebrow as they continued watching us. "Sorry Mr fisher, I'm done talking. You can continue," Will said and everyone laughed. The bell rang as Mr fisher wanted to say something. "I will come back in the next class." He turned around to take his books and belongings. The classes went on and it is lunch hour now. I have three classes after lunch. "You are still doing those things?" Will asked. "Taking photos?" I asked. He nodded his head looking at me. The halls are crowded with juniors and seniors. "Yeah, I'm doing it," I say stepping away as people walked. "Good, I want a few photos for work. Can I take it from yours? I know you got the best photographs." "You can take them. They are just photographs which I take." "Haha... You and I know how precious those photographs are for you," he said as we walked to the cafeteria. Only Will respects my work and my passion for photography, I feel like every place you go tells you a story. Every photograph has something to see. Daisy calls it a waste of time and a waste of money for printing all those pictures. "I want the soft copies," he said. "I have them on my phone, you can share it yourself, I will go and bring our lunch." I said handing him my phone after unlocking it. "Pasta and a water bottle," he said sitting down on the chair. I nodded my head before joining the line. I saw Daisy entering the room along with her new friends. I know she is going to make an excuse of saying that she has some work so she will be sitting with them. I crossed my arms as I waited for the line to move front. "Alaina you are here," Daisy said. "To have lunch you need to stand in a line, so I'm here." I gave her a tight smile to which she gave me one of her own. "Haha.. funny! Listen I have this work to do and I have to sit with them to discuss. I'm sorry but we will go out tomorrow for breakfast for sure." She gave me her puppy dog eyes. "It's oka-" before I could finish saying she yelled thank you, walking towards her new friend's group. The star kids Our school is a private school and one of the best schools of this country. Every celebrity's kid studies here. There is this group called star kids. The famous actors, actress, directors of the film industry kids are one group. There are other groups too but they don't hold the power these people hold.  They stay together, go everywhere together and they are treated as royal people of this school. Will is also a part of that group but he likes to do things out of the box that's the reason he chose to be with me. Will is the only guy who knows everything about me. It sometimes wonders me that I couldn't open up myself with Daisy but I would share everything without any filter with Will. It's because we both have many things in common. He knows every stunt I do behind my parents back. Daisy thinks I'm a boring girl, she tries to make me go to parties with her and all her stuff but I'm not interested in some silly party where you get drunk and do s**t. I'm interested in something wilder like sneaking out of the house just to see the city lights at nights, to capture the full moon by going to the beach, sleeping on the side of the high-way road to watch stars, skipping classes to go to another city's carnival. I blocked my school's number on my parent's phone. Will helps me getting the attendance and I get good grades so that's not a problem. "She is sitting with them?" Will asked as I put the tray. "Yup and doesn't matter." "Don't even write her assignments, projects this year. Let her do her own work, Alaina. She is just using you for homework." "Hmm, not going to. I got so much s**t load work on my head." "I don't get it how you are friends with her, I mean she isn't that good for you. She says all those sugar-coated words when she needs work from you then doesn't even care to talk to you later. See she left you to sit with them." Will scolded as I took a bit of my sandwich. "Will chill out. I'm not bothered about it as I have my own problems now. I have four months in my hands. If I didn't do anything now, I would end up in medical college." "What's your plan then?" "I don't know, I'm just waiting for a sign. I feel like I shouldn't do anything for because it's going to happen soon and I just need to wait for that to happen. Then I will do whatever I want to do." "You know right I will be here to help you out. I don't want my only true friend to end up in medical school, you were there for me when I was at my low and I will be there for you no matter what." He said squeezing my hand in a brotherly way letting me know that he is there for me. "I know Will," I said but my gaze shifted to where the star kids are. My gaze met with Micah's for a split second before I shifted my gaze to Will who is stealing my food.
