Fireon grimaced as he looked around the boring mate search ball his mother prepared for them in the foyer of his very own Zortiyanna. His palace was chosen to be the first host and venue of the mate search project of his parents, so he wasn’t able to sneak away, although it was his original plan.
He noticed his father’s absence nonetheless. He thought this was an important event for his Bah.

He knew their Bah was eager to know if they would find—or at least one of them would find—their fated one. The ten female dragon shifters were dressed in their most beautiful and colorful gowns. However, none had any effect on him or his brothers. He wondered if his sisters were doing well in his sister Jeryaz’s palace however.
