Four years had passed by. The Black Dragons stopped its monthly raid, miraculously. The Kinnacians had no idea what became of those barbarians. Neither did Satis. Maybe it was because the God of Fire made them disappear in the last battle and did something after that.
However, the God of Fire never came back after he said he loved her and that she wanted a little kiss from him. She knew it was not the reason why he shied away. She knew there was something else, which she did not know nonetheless. In spite of this, Satis was true to her word and her feelings.
He must have a good reason why he didn’t come back after all these years, she kept telling herself, watching the skies one morning. It was blue and clear of clouds. Kinnacia was almost always like that. But sometimes, it would rain.
