Chapter 4 - Marionette Battle Soul

"Oh? You actually dare to dodge my attacks?”

Billy retracted his fist that had just smashed into the wooden wall, he had a frown on his forehead.

Just by looking at it, William could tell that Billy was very upset that his attack didn't hit William's body.

“System, check my status!”

William didn't bother to reply and just focused on the system panel in front of his eyes.

Seeing the information before his eyes, William was surprised by his Marionette Battle Soul ability.

“What a useful one-on-one ability!”

Then William slightly glanced at the big man wearing black armor in front of him, he saw an angry expression being plastered on the big man's face.

“Bastard! You really dare to ignore me! I will immobilize your body forever!”

Billy, who was filled with anger, started to raise his right leg which was covered in black armor to kick William who was in front of him.

“One-meter distance from the user's body seems to be appropriate. Then all I need is 10 seconds to make him my Marionette doll!”

William made a cruel grin while trying to defend against the vicious attack.

Bang!

The wooden wall beside William's head had made a hole the size of a human foot.

“Woah, the destructive power of his Battle Soul is truly terrifying!”

No matter how much William saw his attack, he was still shocked by the attack power that the big man in front of him had.

“Damn it, you dare to dodge it again! Hurry up and stay where you are and take my attack like last night!” Billy screamed in annoyance that none of his attacks had hit him at all.

Even though William tried to dodge all of his attacks, some of them still hit several places on William's body.

“Billy really intends to cripple that man forever! Gaston, can you heal that man with your Battle Soul Healing ability? At least let that man live for a while until our turn is over!”

“I'm not so sure about that, Lucas. My Battle Soul healing ability can indeed heal pain, but it's just pain outside of the body. If that man dies from being unable to endure the pain in his body, then there is only one outcome for him which is death.”

The 170 cm tall man named Lucas was talking to the short man beside him named Gaston.

“Why bother taking care of it? Shouldn't we just have to find someone else to be our training partner?" Said a handsome man who was with his subordinates.

But after a long wait, the four of them didn't hear any sound from the one-sided beating that was ahead. They were actually waiting for the scream that came from William's mouth, but after a while, the sound they were waiting for was not heard at all.

Then the four of them saw a shocking sight, it was Billy's body still standing stiffly in front of William.

What shocked the four of them was the disappearance of the anger that Billy had, the big man now really looked like he had lost all interest in taking his anger out on William.

“Finally this place has become quieter than before! It really hurts my ears when I hear his scream!”

Then the four people saw William slowly start to approach Billy and touch his shoulder. If any outsiders were to see the situation in this room, they would probably mistake the two of them for close friends just by looking at William's relaxed attitude.

“You… Have you been friends with Billy all this time?”

"Huh? Why should you be surprised? Haven't you seen with your own eyes that the two of us are indeed friends!"

"No, that can't be true. I feel there is something strange here! What exactly did you just do?!”

Gaston, Lucas, Ethan, and his subordinates were all shocked at the scene before them. The four of them didn't know how William could calm down Billy.

"Looks like you really don't believe me, then take a good look at this!"

With a cold smile on William's face, a shadowy figure began to emerge from behind his body.

The shadowy figure had a black suit that resembled 19th century Europe, and a tall black hat that looked like a magician's hat. But what's interesting about the shadow figure is not the clothes, but the shadow of the doll that is being entangled in the hands of the puppeteer.

The shadow of the puppet being entangled bore a resemblance to Billy Black Armor Battle Soul.

William moved his ten fingers quickly like a puppeteer controlling his puppet.

Then the body of Billy who was beside William began to rush towards the front, he quickly closed the distance to one of the short men named Gaston.

From the five men's previous conversation, William had heard that the man named Gaston had the healing ability of the Battle Soul. For William who was in a state of light injury, right now he needed to finish it as quickly as possible before the four of them started working together.

Then just as William predicted, before the man called Gaston could react, he saw the shadow of a person wearing black armor heading towards him.

BANG!

The body of the man named Gaston was immediately bounced as far as 5 meters to create large cracks in the walls of the room.

From here to William could see that Billy fist had just hit the bridge of Gaston's nose and knocked him unconscious.

“3 people left!”

William smiled coldly as he glanced at the three men who had shocked expressions on their faces.
