Chapter 34 - The Joining of Prince Alfred

At the top of a mountain, there is a cave made of uneven rocks. A red-haired boy slowly opened his eyes in the sunlight, his pupils shaped like cherry blossom petals began to look at the unfamiliar surroundings in confusion.

Then the red-haired man remembered something that made his face turn gloomy. He started to feel like he was looking for something very important to him.

"Finally awake!" An indifferent voice rang in the red-haired man's ears. With the curious face of the red-haired boy turning towards the source of the voice, he saw the face of a man who was younger than his age and the figure of a little girl standing behind him very obediently.

"Who are you?" The red-haired teenage boy slightly frowned and asked warily of the situation around him.

“I was the one who saved you after you fell unconscious!” Seeing that the red-haired teenage boy was awake, William raised his right hand to cover his mouth which was yawning from exhaustion.

Upon hearing William's response, the red-haired teenage boy's eyebrows rose slightly as if he was remembering the last incident before he passed out.

William involuntarily laughed loudly when he heard what Prince Alfred said, “Hahaha! Her calm words couldn't hide the look of joy on her face at all, she looked at William expectantly that what William had just said wasn't a lie.

Seeing the look of joy on Prince Alfred's face, William was a little confused and said to himself, "Why does he look so excited after hearing such a thing?"

But after seeing the excited eyes on Prince Alfreed, William could only nod his head and began to recount everything that had happened when Prince Alfred in front of him fainted.

Then after hearing the truth of the story, Prince Alfreed couldn't contain the excitement in his heart and muttered under his breath, “So Her still left a small piece of her soul in my body!”
