Chapter 53 - Tree Controlling (I)

The three Spirit Warriors slowly began to emerge from behind the trees and walked towards William's location. By the time the three Spirit Warriors arrived at William's location, the three of them caught sight of the view ahead.

They saw three black-robed figures with a huge Soul-Beast corpse beside them.

Even though they couldn't see his true identity, they could still guess the figure of the body beneath the black robe.

One of the easiest to identify was Chiaki, just at a glance the three of them could easily identify his identity because of his small smooth skin like that of a little girl.

The other was Prince Alfred, the three of them only saw his tall figure and they already knew it was an experienced male Spirit Warrior.

And the other was William, they guessed that the figure under the black robe was a teenage boy.

The three foreign Spirit Warriors looked at William and the others with scornful looks. They knew that the opponent they were going to face was extremely weak, so that was why they didn't even think about attacking him stealthily.

“One early-stage tier 9 Spirit Warrior, one mid-stage tier 9 Spirit Warrior, and one advanced tier 9 Spirit Warrior. Geez, I never thought we'd meet someone with the same level of power as us!”

“Not only that, even their group has brought a little girl with him! I really don't understand how they can still survive, it's so lucky they haven't been eaten by the beasts here! Hey Roy, aren't you as ashamed of your cultivation base as that little girl?"

Before William wanted to reply to the Spirit Warrior named Roy's words, someone beside him had answered first.

"Oh? You really are so stupid! Do you think such a threat will work? If you really want our Soul-Beast crystal core, then take it! That is also if the three of you have the ability to do it!” Prince Alfred said without the slightest fear and looked down on the three Spirit Warriors who had just arrived.

Even if Prince Alfreed's current state wasn't at his peak, he could easily annihilate the three people in front of him very quickly.

Even if the three people in front of him were geniuses with special abilities like himself, Prince Alfred would still not be afraid.

At worst, William, who was behind him, would also step in to help him.

"Huh, you don't know yourself!" said one of the three of them. Behind his body, appeared a shadowy figure of a man whose body armor looked like black buffalo skin. The moment the black buffalo's Battle Soul appeared, the Spirit Warrior's original body slowly transformed into a black buffalo with its skin as black as iron armor.

While the other Spirit Warrior, just stayed behind while looking warily at William. Behind him, appeared a shadowy figure of a man who looked like a mantis. As the Battle Soul mantis appeared, the Spirit Warrior's true body slowly changed shape. The skin of the body which was originally brown slowly began to appear a new layer of skin that was quite hard greenish in color. His arms and legs turned into sharp scythe arches, just looking at the tip of the blade made one shiver with fear.

Then the Spirit Warrior named Roy rushed forward simultaneously with his companion at the side. The two of them advanced and attacked separately according to their strength level.

When William saw the decision they had made, William subconsciously shook his head and muttered, “It's not a bad decision to hinder a strong enemy so that his friend can kill the weakest enemy! But sadly you guys still don't know the true power that other people have!”

Even though those Spirit Warriors had high arrogance, but at least William saw that they weren't brainless idiots after seeing the situation in front of them.

The Spirit Warrior in front of William intended to keep himself and Prince Alfreed from being able to help Chiaki's battle.

Even a fool would understand that attacking the weakest one would reduce the number of enemies and make it easier for one to win the battle. It was the smartest decision on the battlefield.

But unfortunately, not everything will go as expected. That was because what they were fighting was not a normal enemy, but someone William had recruited into his organization.

By the time the Spirit Warrior named Roy was about to attack Chiaki, unfortunately, all of that was already in the little girl's perception.
