Chapter 120 - Farewell!

After leaving the secret service organization's territory, young lady Anna didn't stop but still flew a bit further before dropping the five of them off in a rather hidden area.

Without saying a word, young lady Anna immediately dropped the five of them, then immediately flew back to the secret service organization's territory after finalizing the previous agreement with William.

“Even though that woman looks cold, she seems very kind for putting us here to hide our whereabouts!” Prince Alfred looked at the departing young lady Anna who didn't say anything to the five of them.

"Yes, her is indeed a good person." William nodded his head while looking at the blue sword light that had just disappeared. Then William began to survey the entire area around him, he saw that various soul beasts were lurking around, and a thin stream of spiritual energy was present in this place.

"Come with me!" William said in a low voice after determining the direction to get out of this place, then he ran ahead of the other four.

Regarding William's direction, Chiaki, prince alfreed, and the others didn't have the slightest doubt and just ran behind William into the depths of the forest.

15 minutes later, a group of people had come to where William had just landed from young lady Anna's flying sword.

By the time the group of people landed on the spot, they all began to take out soul-tracking artifacts to follow the scent trail left by William's body.

"They have all entered the forest!" Said a spirit warrior holding the soul-tracking artifact.

"Alright, let's follow the trail and enter the forest together!"

“Young master, I can sense someone is approaching us! As for the number of the group, I can't guess too sure." Chiaki said in a worried tone. His perception ability was excellent, especially after his recent increase in his cultivation base. Hers' detection ability had improved greatly from before.

Although Chiaki couldn't be as accurate as William's Eyes of Wrath ability which could directly see the enemy's body, his perception range was much more sensitive than William's.

“Alright, I'll pull out some of the trackers tracking us and kill them all. You all better run away from here as soon as possible because you all could become their targets, don't stop fighting. After all, there is a high possibility of being surrounded. After all, we all have mandatory missions in different regions, so it's best to split up here from now on." William began to advise the four people in front of him.

“How about you young master?” Chiaki asked with concern.

“Don't worry, I won't die easily just fighting them alone. Trust me, if I dare to face them alone, then I will definitely come back alive!” William could only smile at Chiaki to calm his worries.

When William was just about to leave to lure the pursuers, he suddenly heard a hoarse voice coming from Chiaki's mouth, "Do you think that we are all a burden to you?"

Upon hearing that, William's body involuntarily froze for a moment, and began to turn towards the two of them with a smile, “Of course not, I just don't want to hurt you all! What's more, I'm afraid that alfreed's true identity will be leaked in this place, so all I can do right now is try my best to do what I can. I really believe in the power that you all have, so that's why I left you all to go first!”

"When we meet again, I hope that the strength of all of you has increased greatly than today!" After he finished saying that, William started to turn around and leave here while jumping over the tree branches in the depths of the forest before disappearing from their sight.

Seeing the direction William was leaving, Chiaki, Rolan, and Ricky could only look at each other before nodding their heads. As for Prince Alfred, he could only helplessly sigh.

Even though the power of his abilities was enormous, they would harm everyone.

“I must return to my original cultivation base as quickly as possible!”

William didn't take any action at all and just watched the people chasing him with cold eyes. Among all of them, several assassins caught William's attention the most, their strength was far higher than the other spirit warriors in the forest area. It was a spirit warrior with an early-stage tier 8 cultivation base.

“If it was before, maybe I should rely on the cause and effect book soul artifact. But with my current strength, even I can easily kill an early stage 8th level spirit warrior who is in front of me!”

The early-stage 8th level spirit warrior wore a black robe with a hood over his face. William could even feel that person's strength in his heart just by looking from a distance, he felt like he didn't see a human, but a fierce, bloodthirsty Soul Beast.

Another thing that made William very curious was not only that person but a group of 30 people. It was completely different from the other lone assassins, as they all moved together with a crystal ball that looked like a soul-tracking artifact.

"Interesting!" William smirked slightly before jumping onto the tree trunks beside him.

“We are so close to the man's location, the fluctuations in his spiritual energy are becoming more and more obvious within this crystal ball. We must prepare for the upcoming battle!” Said the leader of the 29 spirit warriors.

“That young man named William has really offended not only lord Railegh, but he also offended countless others.”

“Yeah, sending a lot of spirit warriors with peak stage 9 cultivation bases just to kill him is overestimating that guy's abilities. In fact, we only need to have a lot of people and attack simultaneously in order to kill the man.”

“Hey, dying at the hands of others and dying at the hands of all of us, those are completely different concepts. Do you understand what I mean?” The leader said it in a cold tone.

"Understood leader!"

They all didn't know that all of those conversations had been discovered by William, “Mr. Railegh? It seemed that someone of high status wanted me to die, but sadly that would never happen. I can only be grateful that that person sent me so many evolution coins!”

William looked at all of them coldly and started running to the side of the forest, “According to the observations just now, they are tracking me because of the fluctuations in the spiritual energy I have and the scent on my body. Then there's only one thing I can do. Now that I know their methods, so don't blame me for toying with all of you!”

As William ran fast through the woods, he started continuously tearing the clothes he was wearing and throwing them on some nearby tree branches. The torn clothes had been hanging from the tree branch while being blown away by the air.

Moments later William's scent immediately spread throughout this forest.

After doing this, William quietly sealed the spiritual energy in his body by using a low-grade disguise talisman to dispel his aura. He wasn't like a spirit warrior anymore, but an ordinary human without the slightest cultivation base.

After a while, the assassins started to notice some strange things going on around here. Whether it's Ariel tracking the scent, the leader of the group of 29 people who are looking for William with the crystal ball, or the other assassins, everyone is starting to know that every move they make is simply circling around the forest.

“Damn it, how many clothes is that guy going to throw in this forest?!” Ariel, the person who has always been calm, started to feel angry after seeing the many torn clothes on the tree branch.

The assassins soon realized that all of this was William's doing to avoid being chased, which was why they were all very upset and kept looking for him one by one. But unfortunately, after a few minutes, they couldn't find William's exact location at all, the only thing they could be sure of was William was still in the woods.

“I've messed up the patience in my heart and lessened their alertness, maybe it's time for me to attack. Did they all think that this was a game between a hunter and prey? But they don't know that right now, who will be the hunter and who will be the prey!” William looked coldly with a wide grin.
