Chapter 97 - Hunt the Enemy

When William ran towards his target, he suddenly found someone hiding in the ground. After looking at it closely, it turned out that the person who was hiding was one of the people who were watching William from the side with killing intent.

“You think I won't find you if you hide in the underground cave passage? How naive!” William said in a cold tone, he suddenly jumped with all his strength and fell into the person's place.

Not long after, William stood in front of the 30 groups while staring at the black-robed man hiding in the center of the group.

That man was one of the peak 9th stage spirit warriors, he was one of the leaders of several spirit warriors that William had previously pursued and killed.

When he saw William, the spirit warrior who was being targeted by William immediately broke out in cold sweat with beads of sweat falling like rain. The man said with deep horror, “No way! There's no way that man could find me. That man must have come here just to ask questions, I mustn't panic!”

The spirit warrior that William was aiming for tried to calm his heart, him thinking that the black-haired youth in front of him came here just to ask.

When it saw William appear instantly, it immediately shocked everyone's hearts. But upon seeing the figure in front of them had jet-black hair and terrifyingly red pupils, made the hearts of all the spirit warriors skip a beat. “The person I want is the man behind the black robe! If you want to stop me from killing that man, then prepare to die with him!” William immediately raised his right hand and pointed at the spirit warrior who was hiding in the crowd.

The leader was surprised after seeing the direction William was pointing, it was the man William was aiming for. The man William was pointing at had made a deal with himself, as long as that person could get out of here alive then that person would be willing to become his subordinate. Because of that, the male lead agreed with the man's words and hid the man in the crowd of the group.

“Umm… That person is one of our original team members. Since his face is unsightly, I told him to wear a black robe that can cover his body.” The man explained to William in a hurried tone.

But upon looking up, he saw that William had rushed straight into the crowd and slashed the neck of the man wearing the black robe with the white sword in his hand.

Slash!

The person's head flew upwards, before falling slowly to the ground.

In just a few moments, the blood that came from the man's neck was scattered everywhere.

"Ding! Congratulations to the host for earning 200 Evolution Points for successfully killing a tier 9 Spirit Warrior!”

"Ding! Congratulations to the host for earning 300 Evolution Points for successfully recycling the enemy's Battle Soul!”

William immediately ignored the notification from the system.

“You can leave here if you don't want to die with that man, but if you want to die with him then I won't refuse that wish!” William said with an indifferent expression as he wiped the blood splatter on his face.

Seeing the black-haired youth covered in blood, made everyone here hold their breath. Especially the resolute killing and terrifying cold look on William's face, made everyone think the same.

It was to escape from here as quickly as possible so as not to anger the black demon.

In just the blink of an eye, the 28 spirit warriors immediately turned around and went swiftly into the forest, all of them leaving the group leader without the slightest hesitation. A team of over 30 spirit warriors, instantly fell apart due to the murderous aura emanating from Williams's body.

After doing so, William could only stare at the blue sky above his head blankly. William could only mutter in his heart and said, “If I were in the same situation as that person, would I be begging for mercy with a pitiful expression so that someone else could spare my life?”
