Chapter 13 - Lux Family

The southern region of the Feysac Kingdom, that region was known to the Spirit Warriors of the southern continent as the Borough Province. The mayor of the Borough Province was from one of the Three Great Families namely the Lux Family.

Not far from where William's inn is located, about 10 kilometers to be exact, there is an ancient villa that has a very grandiose shape compared to other buildings in the vicinity.

Within the private hall, there were four figures of people sitting together as if discussing something.

In one of the four figures, there was only one middle-aged man who had a peak Spirit Warrior cultivation base of level 7. While the other three figures only had an Early, Medium, and Advance Spirit Warrior cultivation base of level 7.

The middle-aged man had reddish hair that was shaped like a male lion's hair and his large body was extremely stocky.

The middle-aged man was the current Head of the Lux Family, Boden Lux.

“So, what about the results of the investigation? Has anyone found out what caused the explosion last night?” The middle-aged man stared intently and asked the three people in front of him.

In just one night, there have been two consecutive cases in the Borough Province. Last night's incident was the first time since several tens of years ago since someone dared to make such a big mess in the southern region ruled by the Lux family.

As the person in charge of governing the southern region of the Feysac Kingdom, Boden Lux felt embarrassed if this matter sounded in the ears of the Feysac King. At least as the person in charge of the southern region of the Feysac Kingdom, he had to find out the truth of the explosion.

“Head of the Family, I just got the results of the investigation last night. This news comes from one of our descendants who is a member of the Secret Service, but I'm not sure if it's true or not." The man who looked to be 25 years old had a doubtful expression on his face.

The middle-aged man, Boden Lux raised his eyebrows and said in a curious tone, “Oh? So what kind of information did you get to have doubts about the news?”

“In the information I received, it said that a level 7 Spirit Warrior who was seriously injured managed to enter our territory to heal.”

Boden Lux frowned and said, “Headly injured level 7 Spirit Warrior? Have you found the identity of that person?”

Boden Lux felt strange when he heard that. According to the situation in the southern continent, if there was a level 7 Spirit Warrior like that fighting then many people should have heard of the fight.

“Yes, head of the family. According to the information I've got, that tier 7 Spirit Warrior Master shouldn't be from any of the Great Families. According to information, that tier 7 Spirit Warrior Master seems to have just broken through with the help of his soul artifact.”

Boden Lux was immediately shocked when he heard that there was a soul artifact that could help one break through a cultivation base.

“Where is that soul artifact now?”

“According to the information I have obtained from one of our descendants who is in the Secret Service, it has been taken by Captain Alex Crust of the Secret Service's fifth team.”

"Crust? Did that mean he was from the main lineage of the Crust Family? But why would someone from the Crust Family be in our area of responsibility?”

One of them said in a confused tone. The person who had just spoken was an old man with bleached hair and fiery red eyebrows. Even though that man had already entered old age and looked like he would die at any moment, the people of the southern continent still didn't dare to underestimate him.

This old man was one of the former Lux Family Heads, Jordan Lux.

“I don't know what he was doing in the southern region, but from the information, I got it was said that Captain Alex was the one who handled the murder case of our Lux Family descendant. Not only that, one of the witnesses at that place said that a 7th level Spirit Warrior Master has a trace of aura that is very similar to that of the Abyss Demon Race!”

The 25-year-old man said it with a very serious face as he spoke of the abyss of the death demon race.

Before long, he stood up straight and He raised his head and glared at the three people in front of him and said, “Send a message to the Crust Family in the western region, telling them to return the soul artifact that was in Captain Alex's hands. According to the rules set by the king, all evidence that is at the scene must be handed over to the authorities in the area!”

“All of this happened in the Borough Province, so whatever is in this area is our responsibility!”

In a place in the province of Borough, there was a black horse carriage that was constantly speeding on the ground.

The wooden wheels that had been galvanized with the iron made a creaking sound like they were overloaded.

Because there is no shock-absorbing function, the rise and fall of the carriage are so great that the passengers in the horse carriage cannot drive properly.

The youth had pure black hair with some shimmer on it. His handsome face had a bright smile, which gave him a strange yet charming charisma!

This person is naturally William.

After using the causal book to eliminate himself as a suspect, he was no longer worried about becoming a fugitive from the Lux Family in the southern region he was in.
