When I heard Bria’s cries coming through the monitor, I rolled over and looked at my phone. It was a little after five in the morning, and I could hear the shower was already on. Dominic was leaving for New York today so I’m not surprised he’s up as early as he is. At least now he’ll get a few minutes with Bria before he heads out.
When I walked into her room I was greeted with her usual big smile. “Good morning love bug. Did we have nice sleepies? You are getting so much better at sleeping through the night. Mommy really appreciates that.”
After she was changed I headed back upstairs to find Dom out of the bathroom.
“There’s my girls.” He walked over to us and took Bria out of my arms.
“Do you have time to watch her for a minute while I go to the bathroom?”
