Chapter Seven

Jonah Walking into my bedroom after a long night at work was always one of my favorite things. The silence was a welcome change from a night filled with constant static. Not once did I ever think that one person could make something I already loved even better. She proved me wrong.  When I got home she was still asleep. Since it was a Saturday I took that to mean she didn’t have anything planned with clients for the morning. Quickly, I showered and washed away the hospital grime.  Standing over my side of the bed I watched her as she slept. She had on one of my old band t-shirts, which made her look softer and almost younger.
