|At present| * A girl with red hair, wearing specs of her red frame, was studying the steps of delivery of a baby with full concentration. She didn't realize that someone had come into her room until her specs were snatched from her. "Teeee," Liara whined in irritation. "That's why I don't come home when you're here because you don't let me study." She said. "Bla Bla Bla Bla!! Are you done?" Tiara, Liara's twin sister, asked, ignoring Liara's anger. "Don't you get bored by studying all the time?" "No! I don't. Just like you don't get bored by applying tons of makeup on your face and coloring your hair all the time." Liara replied back, snatching her specs. Though they were twins but they both were a pole apart. Tiara was a famous Actress in Hollywood while Liara was pursuing medicine. Tiara was confident and extroverted, while Liara was diffident and introverted. Tiara looked no less than a model who had received her perfect facial structure from her father, while Liara was just an average girl, just like her mother. Also, unlike her sister, Liara was just 5'2, while Tiara was 5'7. "Aww!! Feeling jealous of me?" Tiara teased. Liara sighed and looked at her. "There is nothing to jealous about, Tee. Because I stand nowhere near you. And trust me, there are a lot of things in my life to do in my life than to feel jealous of you because I know I'm an ugly duckling between all the greek gods and goddesses." Liara said bluntly because among all the five siblings, only she was average looking. "Now leave please," showing her the door so that she could. "Hey, you do know that I used to say that just to tease you. You know that." Tiara said to cheer her up, but Liara threw her out of the room. "But that doesn't change the fact, does it?" Liara asked, and when Tiara didn't come up with any answer, she slammed the door in Tiara's face. She then returned back to her studies, but she just couldn't. She was now feeling guilty for acting rude to her sister. 'I should have acted like that. She just wanted to spend some time with me, and I kicked her out.' She mumbled and closed the door; she opened the door and found Tiara, with a big grin on her face, standing in front of her. "I'm sorry." "I'm sorry." "Why are you apologizing? It was me who was rude." Liara said. "I'm sorry for becoming the reason because of which we have so many differences between us," Tiara said, to which Liara didn't say anything because it was true. Because of her, the whole classmate used to tease her by calling her name nerd, especially ugly ducklings. Though she was Liara's sister, but she enjoyed bullying her more than having her back. Liara didn't blame Tiara for anything because back in those times, even Tiara was a kid who used to do all this for fun, but she realized her mistake when Liara fell into depression because of constant teasing and bullying. And since then, Tiara obviously stopped teasing Liara, but people around her never did. "I was wondering if we can go shopping? To buy some gifts for mom and dad's anniversary?" Tiara suggested. Liara shook her head, "I'm sorry, but I don't want to embarrass you. I hadn't forgotten when one of a reporter assumed me as your helper, and you didn't correct him because you were embarrassed to introduce me as your sister." Tiara hissed when she recalled that moment. "I really want to work on our relationship, Lee. Can you please give me a chance? I know I couldn't become the elder sister that I should have been. You always looked up to me, but I was never there for you." "I'm sorry, but it's a big NO because the crowd scared the s**t out of me, and on the top, your fans will surely approach you by finding you in public. I won't be able to speak without fumbling in front of them or the camera." Liara responded, to which Tiara thought that she was rejecting the plan when Liara added, "But we can watch a movie together." "Coooollllll." * "So, found our mate in your college?" Tiara asked, eating popcorn. "No!! Have you found him?" "No. And to be honest, I don't want him to meet him this soon because werewolves are too quick to settle down, and I have my whole career ahead. After all, I'm just twenty-two." Tiara replied, to which Liara nodded her head. Her thoughts were different from hers. 'Mates can never become the barrier in the dream if he is the right one.' She thought, but soon she realized that she would have to share her mate with her twin's sister, which meant she wouldn't chance in front of her sister and maybe.... maybe her mate would reject her for being so ugly and tiny. Hell, she didn't even know R of Romance. What would she say to him if she met him? Would she even be able to speak in front of him because of nervousness? 'He will reject me right away.' "Hey," Tiara hit Liara's shoulder slightly. "Don't think about those things that I used to say previously. Our mate won't reject you." She said softly. These were also the thoughts that Tiara had filled in Liara's mind. She just used to say it as fun or to tease her, but Liara took everything seriously. "Hmm" "So, does anyone bully you in your college?" Tiara asked. "Well, I'm not everyone's favorite because I'm more intelligent than students who are at least ten to twelve years older than me. So, sometimes, yeah!! They pull a prank on me." "What kind of prank?" Tiara asked with a frown, knowing very well that Liara was just tooooo good at studies rather than that she was a weakling. Everyone tried to fight and self-defense, but she didn't learn it; instead, she used those time to study more & more. "Nothing serious!!" Liara shook her head, not telling her how sometimes she was locked in the washroom, how she had to complete the assignment of others, or how she was exactly treated. "Who is your friend over there?" Tiara asked. "You know how bad I am at making friends, right?" Liara mumbled, to which Tiara nodded her head. Everyone had a habit of assuming Liara as a girl with a lot of attitudes because of her introverted nature. But that was never true. Once anyone got comfortable with her then, Liara could barely stop talking about body organs or diseases, poison, or any other medical topic. In short!! Liara was a very, very, very boring person, and one needed to be blindly in love with her to listen to all those boring topics. "You wanted a chance to work on our relationship, right? Liara asked when something clicked in her mind. "No! No! No! No! I won't go to the Library." Tiara shook her head because of the smile on Liara's face. "No! Not Library..." "Thank Moon Goodess!!" "But book festival." Liara completed on which Tiara made a crying face. Damn! Now, she was regretting her decision of thinking to work on their relationship because no matter how hard she tried, she wouldn't start liking the way Liara saw things through her eyes. "Noooooooo!!! I don't want to get caught dead at those places." Tiara sneered. * After an hour!! Tiara was getting bored while Liara was purchasing a lot of books for her. At the same time, Tiara received a call, and she left from there to talk with the person on the other side without informing Liara. Liara took around three hours to finally select all the books that she needed, and then she looked for her sister, who was still not back from that phone call. She smiled sadly when she realized that she was left alone AGAIN. Her sister could spend a day in shopping but not couldn't spend an hour here. 'Moon Goddess, will my mate also leave me alone when he will be with Tee?' She asked the question which always made her insecure. . #TBC . A/N: Dear Grammer Police, you can stop reading this book now and here. I saw mean comments when I checked a couple of my books after one month. I wonder, 'are you blind?' I mean, I have always warned readers in the very first chapter about grammatical errors, but still, if you planned to go ahead, then I believe you know what you're reading. So, just complaining.
