Leah's POV
As soon as I came back home from Lucas' house, I heard Laura's voice -
"Leah, you need to see this!"
"What's going on?" I asked.
"That wicked witch has just tweeted! She claimed that you stole her jewelry! That filthy old b***h! I should have broken her legs and stuffed my socks in her mouth yesterday!"
"What?" I jumped off the bed.
Laura's words came as a shock, jolting me fully awake.
"Look!" Laura pushed her phone to my face. "Hash tag DesertRose! The original post of that old b***h has been retweeted a million times and become the trendiest topic of this morning! Everyone is talking about it!"
I scrolled down a bit and clicked the original post.
