Chapter 11 TRUE TO GREETJE’S word, a boy came to the house the next morning with the message that tonight’s service would be held in a boatshed in East Harbour. Johanna didn’t see him. She was resting upstairs, as she had done for much of the previous day, and only came downstairs when he returned to accompany them to the secret location of the church service.
