Samika's POV
"You promised me that I can see your wolf" I say and he thinks for a minute and then looks around.
"We would grab attention if I did," he says.
"How so?" I ask him.
"The place is close to pack lands, and if I shift into a wolf, it might alert my Alpha" he says and I nod.
I don't know how a wolf can alert an Alpha. But since I don't know how the werewolf system works, I let that slide.
I sit on the hood of the truck, beside Nyle and take in the scenery before me.
"But you can still talk to him though" Nyle says out of the blue again and I look at him in surprise.
"How can that happen?" I ask but he keeps checking out for danger and he is rarely looking at me.
"Like this," he says and closes his eyes for a moment.
