All attention in the room was directed to the source of light that just peaked in. Leigh looked around the room and saw four guys standing and a guy tied to a chair. She couldn't make out any faces, she moved closer and walked farther into the room.
"Are you guys that much of a coward. You all had to gang up on just one person, does that make you feel brave?. It's 4 against 1 the least you could do is balance the number".
Eros turned to face the girl who spoke, he looked emotionless as always. He stared at the figure in front of him.
"What are you?" He spat his voice venomously low but still, everyone in the room heard him clearly.
Leigh made eye contact with Eros, she lost control of her legs and fell to the floor. She stared at him. She couldn't stop looking because she saw it, she could see it, she could see him, she could feel the hatred emanating from him, the darkness surrounding him. She felt it all.
Memories came flooding back. Memories of that dreadful day. Memories she had locked away in the pit of her soul that was consumed with darkness.
She remembered him. Those eyes, those dark eyes of his.
How is he here?
He was dead. He was supposed to be dead.
As means of escaping, she began moving backward pushing her heels to the cold tile while still seated on the floor. She felt it, his heart was no longer beating, he was dead inside. He was a dead man.
Her chest began to feel constricted, she found it hard to breathe. She began sweating in the arctic cold room.
"My pills," she thought.
Her hands, legs, and entire body shook in fear. Fear of what he made her remember.
"What the hell!" Eros cursed walking closer to the body on the floor.
"Get away from me!" Leigh shouted.
Eros halted feeling a little startled.
‘What the hell is wrong with her?’ He thought.
Leigh got on her feet, and with trembling legs, she dashed out of the room.
"What the hell was that?" Eros spat.
