“You’re supposed to be with Nana Moira at the therapy retreat. Please tell me you didn’t ditch her?” Aurora doesn’t mean to sound harsh. But she’s understandably worried.
“Of course, I didn’t. What do you take me for? I dropped Nana off back at the castle.”
“Okay,” Aurora sighs. “But that didn’t answer my question. Why are you here? Surely, you’re not done with therapy yet?”
There’s no way Sebastian is done with therapy. The man went through every parent’s worst nightmare – child abuse. He’s been gone a few days, is all. Even with months of therapy, it would take years for him to come to terms with what happened. All that shame he was carrying around won’t go away because he’s told people what happened.
