As days started to progress, the problems that they wanted nothing more than to settle came to wake them into reality. When their past horrors and nightmare came knocking into the door with a greeting of war, what can she do? For even if she was known to be a woman who holds no set of fears, there are some that she could never face with the same confidence.

Prelude
Hunted Second Half Alpha Male Series Book #1.5 i. epigraph she is dark, a danger to all beyond her grasps lies a killer’s wrath for years, they asked what could stop her from ruining lives not knowing beyond all, that they had ruined what she had loved.   ii. foreword What makes a man dangerous, one would ask.     For years there are questions and debates in what could be the basis of dangerous in the realm of Werewolves. Alphas had been known as dangerous for years, above them was their King. Years progressed and people had come to realize that Alpha only protect people from what they perceive as dangerous.     Marked Red.      For them, nothing is more dangerous than someone who has the need to kill those who had opposed him—especially when they do not have the ability to second guess their decisions. As long as it benefits him, he had no moral value for the life of others. While there is nothing more dangerous than that kind of man—it was not rare that they exist.     Packs of marked red are not well known through the land, but everyone knows they exist. They could merely hold hundred of marked red due to their incapability to stop themselves from killing another, but there was one man who had made it happen.     He is the Alpha of the Rogues, Alpha Shane.     Known as a dangerous man, but it was never because of his violence—only because, he is a marked red. The man does not hold the mark, he was healed by a Mage and was given a chance to help people who suffered the same fate as him.     While he is known to be dangerous by others, but like other Alpha—he could only show violence when he is threatened.       “We are not endangering them, that is final!” he screamed, having everyone submit to his screams.     The pack had been deprived of food as everyone had seen them as nothing but scum for no matter how many times Shane had helped the people, they continued on retaliating back—never having a chance to let themselves heal from their mark which was hindering them to have a good life.     His beta sighed, “Alpha, we have no resources. We needed to raid another pack to have us—”     “What we needed is to learn how to have our own crops. This pack needed to have enough strength to produce our own treasures,” he sighed, holding the side of his head as he felt a migraine coming trough, “In order for us to become a pack, we needed to act like one. How many times have I said this, beta?”     “Plenty,” he replied.     Alpha Shane had only walked down from his chair and offered a hand to his beta, “I know it is hard given the circumstances, but we needed to act like wolves to fight the demon inside us.”     “Why do we need to fight is?” he asked, “That is what we are known for.”     “Not for long,” Alpha Shane replied, with nothing but confidence.     He sighed, “I wanted to trust you, Alpha.”     “Whatever do you mean?”     The beta had acted quick before piercing his chest with a silver blade, automatically having the man staggering before him. What makes a dangerous man grew power is that they could easily blend in and take whoever place they wanted.     A sly grin escaped his lips, “But the dominance this place used to have is faltering, and I can not have that.”      “Y—you…” he muttered, spitting out blood.     “I will make them riot,” he whispered, leaning in to his so-called Alpha, “I will make them all accept who they are and take what is mine and you will not hinder me from it.”     As soon as the man had dropped dead on the ground, he now has a pack to rule. First order in his business is as usual, he needed to have what used to be his—no matter the form.     “You finally killed him,” spitted a man who walked before him.     He nodded, “You know the drill. We’ll be waltzing through the hunter's organization after this.”     “Giovanni,” the man sighed before frowning at him, “I do not know how to tell you this. However, V had died for more than a year. That organization does not hold her any longer.”     The newly crowned Alpha only grinned, licking the bottom side of his lips, “I want her.”     The man could only sigh, feeling like he has not been understood. He had been very interested in that woman for years and Hani had the power to whip her away from a madman, which is Giovanni. When she learned that Giovanni had killed the oldest woman in the headquarters—one who tended to her needs for all her life, Nvae had snapped.     She knew that Giovanni could kill Hani too if she was not careful.     Soon enough, she saw the real colors behind the man that she used to see as someone that she loved. For the wolf who used gain her trust had failed to keep her trapped for long.     However, Giovanni had been invested in her—most especially, her skills. The man was never interested in anyone that he could easily have due to his looks; he wanted a woman who can kill whoever he dictates her to.     “She’s—”     “Dead or alive, Kevin,” he repeated, voice turning harsh as usual before screaming at the top of his lungs, “I want her back in my arms, whether she is dead or alive!”     Kevin sighed, “She cannot kill anyone if she’s dead.”     “If she really is dead,” he whispered.     Giovanni knew Hani well. They easily could not be dead due to their skills and the years that they have experienced in the field. While everyone could see them as a hunter who does not want to escape the life they were in before—he does see a reason why.     Hani and Nvae wanted to live a free life     …and he was opposed to that.     “They will not die that easily,” he muttered, looking at his hand which was covered with nothing but blood, “I know them well enough that they are hiding beyond the dark.”     Kevin nodded, “Of course, I will have everyone ready to raid the organization.”     “Perfect,” he grinned, leaning on his chair, “I will need to kill those three mongrels as well.”
