Chapter Seventeen Shay Mischief nudged his head against my shoulder, nipping lightly at my sleeve. For a horse, he had little sense of his size. He wiggled his upper lip often, sniffing things out and nudging them constantly. He was an affectionate little guy. Despite his small stature, he had established himself as in charge in the pasture. He appeared to have no sense that he was smaller than every other horse out there, but his attitude made up for it. I scrubbed behind his ears and unbuckled his bridle. He was accustomed to halters.
