CHAPTER 2 Nash had seen red and wanted someone to pay for what they had done to his mate. As he and Marco moved around a grouping of boulders, Nash had caught a faint scent of Toby. Relief welled inside him, and Nash hurriedly moved around the boulders, only to come up empty. Toby wasn’t there, but his scent was strong. He and Marco searched quickly through some of the nearby brush, then Nash’s blood ran cold through his veins when he heard Marco’s quick intake of air.
