Harper’s POV
When we got to the house I gave Daisy her dinner and sent the kids to shower since it was late. Caleb went straight to the couch to watch the news. I joined him on the couch, sitting close up to him, to watch the weather. I heard the weather guy say it was going to snow and be in the twenties tonight. The kids would wake up to a winter wonderland in the morning and that made me happy.
“How are you enjoying your time here so far?” Caleb asked.
“I love it. I’m really enjoying your family too,” I say with a smile.
“Good. Today was a little on the stressful side,” Caleb says.
I know what that means. He needs stress relief and I know exactly how to handle it.
“Yes it was. Don’t worry, babe. It will be ok.”
