Caleb’s POV
When we got to the house, the kids went straight to their rooms then started getting ready for showers and bed. I went to the living room to watch the news and the weather while Harper fed Daisy then joined me on the couch. We sit there cuddled up against one another to warm up. Her hands were pretty cold from being out at the holiday village.
“Did you enjoy just watching everyone tonight?”
“Yes. Honestly the best thing is just watch the kids have fun. The look on their faces as they laugh and explore the world is amazing,” she tells me.
“Alright, you’re not allowed to have perfect answers like that, little one,” I say.
