“I don’t think we should go.” Marcus said shaking his head. “I think they are going to try something.” He said walking closer to her. “The fact that they’ve had Victor come around and try and get you to do things and change your mind.” He said trying to get his thoughts in order. “I think you’re right, and this is where we need to have a backup plan.” She said looking at him. “I already know what I am going to do.” She said shaking her head. “We’ll go to the meeting and see what they have to say.” She left it at that. She didn’t want to talk about her real plan in case Victor was nearby. They would wait until the Council called for them, and then Hecta would decide what she would do. She wanted Marcus to follow her, but she worried about his safety. She wouldn’t know what to do if Marc
