SO IN THE FIRST OF BOOK OF THIS SEQUEL IN... 

DEVIL FOR A HUSBAND,

The story began in the country of United Kingdoms (UK), in the city of Edinburgh, when an orphan girl, INAYA MANGAL, got her life's biggest shock when her aunt, VRUSHIKA MANGAL informed her that her marriage was fixed.

That was not the problem, but what the actual problem— that she was being forcefully married to a man who was double of her age and a father of two sons who were of her age.

She cried and begged her aunt, asked her to not do it but to no avail. Being a girl with big dreams and high aspirations Inaya wanted to study and do something big in laugh. Alas, her cruel aunt had other plans for her. 

The more Inaya begged her the stronger that woman's determination became, and she ended up beating Inaya brutally. 

This was not new, it was a daily routine. After having lost her parents in a car accident, Inaya was abused and exploited by her aunt. She was the worst woman and a shame in the name of all women. 

She often discriminated between her own daughter and Inaya. While her daughter SHIKHA was getting every fortune of the life poor Inaya, on the other hand was made to utilize her used stuff. 

It all started when her uncle, an event planner seek her talent for the new contract given by the godfather of the cityscape for his anniversary. Inaya was godgifted with the skills of creativity, and she was damn good at planning events for her uncle. 

When life was getting brighter after her uncle MOHIT, stood against her aunt and broke her marriage hence allowing her to pursue her career, another problem (worst than the former one) knocked her doors of happiness. 

It was none other than RIYAN DIWAN, the spoilt brat grandson of DIGVIJAY, the Godfather of Edinburgh. His visit to the city from his own was supposed to be only for the purpose of celebrating his grandpa's anniversary nevertheless, when he set his eyes on innocent Inaya, he lost his heart. 

Riyan was his father's brat son who enjoyed a lavish life on his father's wealth. While his nights were filled with pleasure and s*x in the clubs of London, his mornings, on the contrary, always experienced insults and abuses of his father. 

He was that handsome prince who had no peace. He was not a born brat though. An unfortunate incident as well as his father's lack of trust on him turned him into a person that he was today. Whatever he did was solely done in order to hurt his father. 

And when one day his father informed that, they were going to visit the city of Edinburgh, on the occasion of his grandpa's anniversary, Riyan decided to do every possible thing that he could, to hurt him and degrade his father across his own parents (Ryan's grandparents) 

No sooner had he stepped his foot on the land of the new city than his life seemingly turned upside down not before he caught the sight of a beautiful yet innocent girl. 

She was cute, bubbly and talkative. That was any other night when after getting insulted by his father, Riyan preferred to go out in isolation and get some peace— when he met her on a bridge. 

She took him as one of the workers who were supposed to help her uncle's planning team. They were going to come by the night and since he was a new face, she misunderstood him as a worker. 

Her that misunderstanding worked as the boost to his desires. 

Her constant blabbering, that heart throbbing smile, the way she ordered him to do work and her help while having no idea he was not the worker but the grandson of the man, whose anniversary she was planning... It all soothed his heart to no extent. And when she realized he was not who she was thinking him to be, then— it was already late. 

Riyan had already fallen for her. So badly that when he saw her with guys other than him, he showed who he was. He almost killed her college friend who loved Inaya. 

Starting it with a forced kiss... He ended it with marriage. 

Riyan controlled all the situations in such a way that she had to marry him. 

We saw how Riyan threatened her to kill her uncle and forcefully married her on gun point. 

Riyan successfully made it look like a real love from his side and brought her back to city London, after he officially got married to her in front of his grandparents and parents whereas her innocent uncle thought, she was given to the perfect man! 

But only if he knew who he was! 

His oppression and tyranny never stopped, and he amazingly enjoyed his married life with some envy and love as finally his forced wife was falling in love with him. Remember, this all was happening behind his parents' back who always thought they were living a happy married life. 

Nevertheless, an evil secret can't stay veiled for a long time. It is revealed someday or the other. Same happened with Riyan as after an unfortunate incident, his secret revealed in front of his parents. They got to know what kind of evil he was and how he oppressed poor Inaya all this while. 

And in the end, in order to mend things back and save Inaya's life, we saw how his parents decided to send Inaya back to her uncle and help her get divorce from Riyan. They sat in the car with her whereas Riyan struggled to tell them the truth. 

It was all a misunderstanding which they can't see yet, he was determined on letting them know the same. 

He followed their car as they have had turned deaf ears to him and left at once. He was scared and insecure of losing her. He was disturbed. 

So disturbed that when he saw huge crowd of people standing in the middle of the road in a circle, he can't help but grumble until he heard some of them talk, "All the three of them died, I guess" 

Knowing nothing which three, the people were talking about, Riyan got down of his car only to realize that IT WAS HIS PARENTS AND WIFE lying in a pool of blood... They met with an accident and, Perhaps, died! 

Towards the end, we saw Inaya getting up in a hospital bed with her cousin SHIKHA, sitting on the stool near her bed. She asked her as to why was she in a bed... And Inaya got a reply that gave her another shock of her life!!!

Her in laws i.e. his parents died in the car accident and Riyan divorced her not before transferring his all property in her name.
