My hands are quivering as I scrutinize the documents in front of me. When I confirmed it, I look at my husband sitting with a disguise of calmness beside me. But I know him more than anyone. Iat this moment, if Clyver’s here, he will definitely strike his fist to his son’s face.
“Hon…” I called, but he ignored me. I can sense his disappointment and furiousness due to what we discovered today.
His eyes are darted to the girl sitting in front of us. I don’t know her personally but due to my husband’s people, I got a glimpse of who this is. Her eyes are bloodshot and her cheeks and nose bridge are all tomato red due to crying. As a decent human, I reach for the box of tissue resting on the center table and handed it to her.
